Hey everyone, I am at the hospital now, and Dad is getting a pacemaker put in. He feels a little better today - he seems to have all his memory and everything, is less dizzy and has some vision back. Thanks so much for your prayers.
Kids are so sweet - they aren't picky, just love that we do something special for them. The way to do the "almost homemade" - they turn out so well, no one knows:
Buy frozen bread dough that is formed in loaves - thaw it out overnight on a greased cookie sheet. In the morning, roll is out flat with a rolling pin - about 12 x 12 or 12x15 - Butter it generously, then sprinkle well with cinnamon and sugar. Roll up the dough until you have the long strip, then cut into 1 inch. slices. Melt 1/2 a stick of butter in your 9x13 cake pan, sprinkle brown sugar over that - then place the slices in the pan. Let rise about an hour, then bake at 350 until golden brown. Dump the pan upside down on another pan. You have cinnamony, gooey goodness!
I was always the good girl, so the "bad boy" look appeals to me. Jim was my "bad boy" - long hair and everything!
Plus, I had to give Tessa a choice - I mean she did say MAN

Hi! do you want to be a control freak and worry wart with us?
Thanks Laura - I put my recipe above.
I KNOW! That's what I was thinking - HELLO, Sawyer!
Debbie - don't stress!!!! Just escape with us!
And, you want to know how pathetic I am? One of Lauren's favorite memories of our Christmas mornings is eating cinammon rolls also - except I just crack open the Pillsbury ones! She seems content with those so she has no idea what she's missing out on by not having home-made. I'm wondering if I should give them a try this year.

Tammie - I'm so sorry about your dad!Do they think his vision should clear up soon? How are his spirits? I hope he can get out of the hospital soon. I'll keep him and your family in my prayers.
And - sorry, but Matthew Mc. doesn't do it for me. He just seems too grubby to me. Yet, I don't seem to mind Johnny Depp's grubbiness - go figure!
Sorry I missed that Samantha Brown special. I don't know if I've seen it before. I have a couple saved on my Tivo; I'll have to see if it's already on there! And, yes - you must experience WDW at least once at the holidays!![]()

Cammie--that is our tradition every Saturday morning, I crack open the cinnamon rolls and we watch a dog show--like Breed all about it from Animal Planet or Looney Toons. My girls love grandma's homemade ones but I just can't get the filling just right.
Thanks Laura - I put my recipe above.
Tammie...so sorry for you Dad. I hope it all works out! I will be thinking of you and sending prayers!
Cammie..I thought you like grubby...IE Saywer???
