Ok - I think I just wet my pants!:rotfl2:

I've seen this before - Jay Leno put his face in it one night. I like this version better!

And Kara - I did get this email. But I'm so cautious about opening things I don't know; I saw JibJab - had no idea what it was so I just deleted it!:upsidedow

I did this with Ally too and she just watches it over and over! Probably like Debbie is doing right now! :rotfl2:

Have y'all done the "elf yourself" - too funny! just google "elf yourself" and it takes you to jibjab (I think Office max sponsors it). I did one with my family AND the dogs. Ally just laughs and laughs!

I so wish we were going this February but no still another year for me to wait :headache:

I have Chloe at home today , too many bugs going round school it seems as though half her school is off with it including the teachers, cold, cough, headache which after a couple of days turns into a sickness too .. great we haven't got there yet!!
So i am housebound when i want to be Christmas shopping still have pressies to get .. too many people to buy for, who won't say what they want :headache:

Hope you're all ok and keeping away from all those bugs .. Kara am glad you are feling better

Got another fun breakfast idea when you have guests.

Ziploc Omelets! So fun and easy! Also yummy!

Put out a variety of ingredients for omelets - cheese, ham, onion, green pepper, tomatoe, etc.

Have everyone write their name on a quart size Ziploc freezer bag.

Crack 2 eggs in the ziploc, shake and knead to mix, add other ingredients to bag. Make sure to get air out of bag, and zip it up.

Here's where it gets tricky.

Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for EXACTLY 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot.

Open the bags and the omelets roll right out.

It's fun and everyone gets to make their own.

Found another one! This is like Tammie's spiced tea.

Hot Chocolate Mix

1 lb powdered sugar
2 lbs Nesles Chocolate Quik
1 (8qt) box powdered milk
1 (11oz) powdered coffee creamer

Mix all together and put into mason jars or cannisters for gifts. Instructions are to fill mug 1/3 full of mix and add hot water!

HI girls...had lunch under the tree downtown today. Just like we do every year. It was nice but Elizabeth really was a snot! I am still mad at her. Oh well....that's my life.

You guys are cracking me up. It's always nice to stop by here to drool over something. I might have to post some more naughty stuff and showcase some of my other more age appropriate men!

Hi girls

Kara- I stole both recipes. Helping out at a soup kitchen is a great idea, but this time of year gets very crowded with volunteers. I use to help out with toys for tots, but now there are so many people there is no need. I just donate a few toys and this year I am going to adopt a child and bring some Christmas Joy! You cannot go visit Cammie in Feb you have to come see me in March:rotfl:

I really do hope we all get to meet someday.

Debbie- Luca was being a snot today too. He was even cranky during his playdate which usually he is Super for. I know how that goes.

Well we got Luca's Pictures done with Santa last night Can you believe they charge 24 dollars for 3 pictures? Well here it is even though it didn't come out so great.

Well I am going to attempt to order shirts for our Disney trip so I can have those done now and not have to worry about it later. Also I am going to do some online Christmas shopping in hopes to get that done with.

Oh Jillian - Badookie looks so cute!

And, I got to tell ya this: every year, I keep Amanda home from school one day and take her to the mall to shop (Solomon Pond in Marlborough). They have the same Santa every year and he remembers us - they give us a photo package for free! So nice!

Shut up! You KNOW you like it!:lovestruc

"Disney Holiday Magic" is on with Samantha Brown! I wish I'd seen it from the beginning -she's staying at BWV, Cammie! They're showing the guys to make the castle "frost" up, they are thoroughly enjoying the audience reaction! :thumbsup2 I'll have to Tivo it next time it's on. Oh, I want to be there at Christmas time!:cloud9:

Kara- Ally is just too cute! I made cinnamon rolls last year and they were just the quick ones with pre-made bread dough. I would love to have your cinnamon roll recipe.

Tammie- I am going to make that strata for Brunch with the cinnamon rolls. I wonder if I can make them both the day before?

Cammie- :lmao:

Debbie- I have been trying to limit my computer time too. So much to do.

Those cinnamon rolls sounds yummy! Maybe I should try making those! I think the dough would rise too much or dry out if you leave it overnight, but you could bake them and wrap them in foil to warm in the oven the next morning!

Hiya all -

Kara - Ally sounds like a very lovely young lady, it's great when good parenting shows through in such a nice way!!!

Debbie - we do decorate a bit over here - but not so we need our own power feed like we see in photos from over there sometimes. We put up some lights outside, hang some stuff inside, make paperchains with the kids to hang in swags across the ceiling... but then there's the tree!!! That is my BIG thing..... Our living room is only 26 foot by 12 foot - we eat, watch tv, play, do crafts etc in there (or in here- I should say) and one end is ALWAYS full of tree over Christmas. We go for a Norwegian fir tree and decorate it in a multicoloured type way- the kids stuff takes pride of place.... Hubby's parents are very (anally!!) themed with ONLY red and gold on their tree - very pretty, but seems a bit soulless sometimes...

Oh, and does anyone have some proper MAN candy - these boys are way too saccharine sweet for me...

Tessa

Your tree sounds nice! I love the homey feel of the decorations the kids made, and the special ones we find when traveling. Jim and I have been getting a dated ornament every year we've been married - we have almost a tree full now! :thumbsup2

As for the MAN candy:

This is wierd - I come to the DIS to escape -and I talk you you friends more than most people I know, and yet I didn't talk right away about what's going on today, just started escaping....

My dad had a stroke last night. I spent the afternoon at the hospital today. His heart has been too fast and then too slow for awhile - well, he developed a blood clot, which lodged in the occipital lobe of his brain (the part that controls vision). His vision is really blurry, and he has no peripheral vision on his right side, and he's really dizzy, which gives him nausea. The doctor said by tomorrow some swelling should go down, and we'll see what improves for him. He's getting a pacemaker tomorrow, and then he can't go home until the dizziness is gone. I'll be glad they are doing something more to get him regulated. It makes me mad that he was there the night before with his heart racing, and they couldn't find anything wrong - just scheduled a regular appt with his heart doc.

This evening I had a plumber put in a new faucet for me - the old one kept falling apart and the guy who fixed my icemaker made something start leaking under the sink. I really like it - it's a "teapot" style according to the guy at home depot - goes really well with my Disney themed kitchen!

Jim will be really glad he doesn't have to do this one for me! :thumbsup2

Okay girls, thanks for listening - I love having you all to talk to!:grouphug:

Tammie - I'm so sorry about your dad! Do they think his vision should clear up soon? How are his spirits? I hope he can get out of the hospital soon. I'll keep him and your family in my prayers.

And - sorry, but Matthew Mc. doesn't do it for me. He just seems too grubby to me. Yet, I don't seem to mind Johnny Depp's grubbiness - go figure!

Sorry I missed that Samantha Brown special. I don't know if I've seen it before. I have a couple saved on my Tivo; I'll have to see if it's already on there! And, yes - you must experience WDW at least once at the holidays!:santa:

And, you want to know how pathetic I am? One of Lauren's favorite memories of our Christmas mornings is eating cinammon rolls also - except I just crack open the Pillsbury ones! She seems content with those so she has no idea what she's missing out on by not having home-made. I'm wondering if I should give them a try this year.

Tammie--my heart and prayers are with your family.:flower3: :grouphug:

Cammie--that is our tradition every Saturday morning, I crack open the cinnamon rolls and we watch a dog show--like Breed all about it from Animal Planet or Looney Toons. My girls love grandma's homemade ones but I just can't get the filling just right.

Tammie...so sorry for you Dad. I hope it all works out! I will be thinking of you and sending prayers!
Cammie..I thought you like grubby...IE Saywer???
Hi Laura!
Hi Everyone else.
I gotta run....
I am really stressing today so I will be off the computer for awhile.

Tammie - I'm so sorry about your dad! Please keep us posted and I'll keep him in my prayers! When is he expected to be released?

As for the MAN candy:

Uh, now that's MAN candy! Although the boy toys are nice, too! I told Jeff that if Matthew ever showed up naked on my front porch (cause you know it could happen!) then all bets are off. I think he feels pretty safe though. ;)

Tammie - I'm so sorry about your dad! Do they think his vision should clear up soon? How are his spirits? I hope he can get out of the hospital soon. I'll keep him and your family in my prayers.

Uh, Sawyer is way dirtier than Matthew M! Now that would make a nice Kara sandwich. OMG! Did I just say that????? :rotfl2:

Jillian - Badookie is cute as always!!! That Santa has a creepy look in his eyes though....

Our neighborhood does dinner with Santa every year. He makes the rounds, kinda like a Disney character meal. The only difference is that we know that Mickey is real! ;) Then after dinner Santa is on his throne for pics and they just use a digital camera andhave a printer all set up to print out 5 x 7's for us. It's really nice!

Well, OJ Simpson is crying and pleading with the judge now. Looks like he's gonna e locked up soon! It's such a shame that such a gifted athlete could turn out like this. Remember the Naked Gun movies? He was so likeable! Who would've thought..... :sad2:

How did that photographer get my picture behind Matthew? :rotfl2:

I don't think I was EVER that fit! And thin. And hot. And that close to Matthew. And is she checking out his butt???? :lmao:
