KARA…..You know how you want me to stop talking about losing wait, well I want you to stop talking about all the work you get done! So there! PLUS...you don't even look like you need to lose any weight! My home is officially embarrassing and I don’t even know where to begin but I better soon or I actually will end up on the Dr Phil show. Being sick isn't going to help the process much either. Jillian, you are not allowed to announce you have a clean house either!

I am glad or maybe not all our DHs seem to be wired the same though. Seriously it does get old quick!!!! Like for example, I am sicker than a dog. I can’t remember the last time I got hit like this but guess what? No one cares! Well, I know you guys care but that’s about it!

Kara...back to you....I hate your SIL! Don't ever discuss anything WDW with her again. I forbid you. I completely agree about the evil capabilities because I am the same way!!!! Call and mess with her ressies!

Elizabeth’s birthday yesterday was WONDERFUL we went to the American Girl Doll Store downtown and my Mom bought her her first doll. She wanted “Samantha” very badly because she kind of looks like her. I found out that Samantha was being discontinued and that she was no longer available to buy at the store. I started prepping her for the big let down and tried to steer her in the direction of other dolls. We arrive there to a big sign that says, “we apologize but Samantha is no longer available”. My Mom & I were super bummed!! So as we were looking around at everything and reading up on all the dolls I decided to grab this saleswoman I saw. I said, “ I know this is probably laughable but you don’t by any chance have a Samantha doll available do you?”. She got this smile on her face and I knew the answer would be “yes! Well if you saw Elizabeth’s face when she brought that doll out it was magical. A total Disney moment even though we weren't’t in Disney! After that we secretly bought her some items to give her in the evening and at Christmas followed by this adorable luncheon where you bring your doll with you to the table. They sang happy birthday to her and she just loved it!



BTW....love my new phone and the fact I can text!!!! Maybe I love it too much and I am afraid you guys are in trouble when I can now reach you at anytime!

Debbie - thank you for not making me feel like a total witch - I swear, I'm at the point where I probably would mess with her ADRs - just kidding. Or am I? I hope you get to feeling better soon - but at least get it over with now - it's that time of year. I hate being sick and seeing my house get trashed with nobody caring about it. Just makes that much more work once you get to feeling better.

OK, Debbie, don't listen - I got my bedroom almost done!!!! I'll try to send pics later. It's painted. The drapes are up and some stuff on the walls. But the comforter is going to the guest room, I just can't spend the money on the bright white comforter I want for our room. Plus, we want to get new furniture hopefully next summer so that will make a whole new room!

Just got our tax bill - holy crap!!!! It's 2 1/2 times what it was in SC! I knew FL was high, thank goodness we wrap that into our house payment, so all I have to do is send this bill to the bank to pay. It's scary looking at that much money in one bill!

Jillian - I'm sure Cammie will fill you in on WL - I think she really liked it when she and Lauren stayed there this summer.

So fill us in some more on this job - when will you hear for sure of your start date??? Yea!!!!!

Y'all, I'm so tired, all the time, I think I must have a vitamin deficiency or something. Seriously, I could nap every day. I think part of it is that Jeff is snoring so bad lately that I start off in our bedroom but at a certain point almost every night I end up upstairs in the guest room - with a mattress as old as dirt. Seriously, the mattress is over 20 years old and the box springs are my original box springs from my first big girl bed - 39 years old!!!!! No wonder my back aches, my shoulders hurt, and I'm always tired!

Plus, they're soooo expensive - maybe another year! I'm glad you had fun though, I've heard it's a great mother/daughter treat!

Hi girls! I tried to lay low and sleep alot yesterday. After fighting off a cold all weekend, I ended up with Laryngitis since Friday night - I can only whisper, which really stinks when you have to make a phone call! We're having a hollywood makeover on Thursday, and I don't have my "faces" lined up for sure - AND I need to talk to my spa hostess for Friday. I'm hoping to have my voice back tomorrow.

Debbie, I hope you're feeling better - no more sicker than a dog, okay? Congrats on the new phone - type away! I got a new phone last week, but our old company was bought out by Verizon, and our new plan is lots more minutes, but no free incoming, and texts aren't included, although I'm open to a few. ANYONE ELSE VERIZON? We can call each othe FREE!

Kara- You did the right thing - now do what Debbie said! That would be so funny - "I'm sorry ma'am. Your ressies are listed at All Star Sports, Parking Lot view, 2 double beds. It shows here that you changed those and cancelled the dining plan on Nov 13th!"

I'm glad you're almost done with the bedroom - you put the comforter in the guest room???

We bought a new range for rhe kitchen today - we'll have it Monday. I have been without an oven for a year! First, I was going to get it fixed, then at $400 for repairs on the electronic, I was holding out for a new one. Jim finally bought me a new one today - Lindsay lobbied for a new one now since we are having guests for Thanksgiving! I wasn't in a hurry before, because I don't love to cook. And I've been using the Nesco cooker for most things- makes a really juicy turkey.

But of course now I want to go to the Disney recipe thread and make some new things - Lindz and I are both excited!

Jillian, how did the interview go? Where are the live from WDW with Cammie pics? On your phone?



Laura - are you doing the fondant on the strawberry? Pics! we want Pics!

It is actually quiet here for a few minutes - Londynn is sleeping, Myles is laying on the couch watching cartoons, Jim left to coach Bball and Mark and Lindz left for school - their college doesn't celebrate Veterans Day


Okay, guess I'll go check out some other threads. Now that I finished my TR, I need to hang out more on the others'. I can't believe how soon we are going! TGM is out with our dates, so I need to start printing up his tours. I think I should call member services again for a BWV room, as I see they are listed as available for the stay 4, get 3 free deal.

I agree about trashing the doll but Ally is at a perfect age for it!!!!! Pretty soon she might be too old. The doll was $90.00 which I do think is steep but she LOVES her and they have all the accessories, stories and background history to go with them. I admit though I will be super mad if she even starts to trash her. My Mom got her the doll and I got her the bed.
Get this! There was a doll salon there where they were giving the dolls fresh hairdos!!!! It was like bibbity bobbity boutique for American Girl dolls!

And screw Atlanta! Come to Chi towns store!!!

Kara...we are having snoring issues here too. I just stay there and tough it out at this point but I really want to murder him! It's so annoying!!!!!

I just typed all this out and my computer zapped - so here goes again.

Pics of finished shirts. They are really grainy for some reason - my camera is not doing well with indoor shots with flash but outdoors it takes great pics.

I just hope the sparkles stay on - I couldn't find my hot glue gun anywhere, so I used a craft/fabric glue. We'll see.....

Just need to get my nails done and pack. I have been adding little things to my park bag - bandaids, extra batteries, etc. I need to charge the camcorder for the 1900PF dinner - otherwise I don't think we'll even use it.

I'm really starting to stress over money now. Just got a bill for Ally's surgery - $1000 from the surgeon!!! That is AFTER insurance paid! But because the deductible wasn't reached, they decided to just snag it all at once. Ouch! And I know that our house payment will go up by around $400/month next year because the bank misfigured the taxes. That has happened to us with every new mortgage we've had. This one just looks worse than the others. After a year I'm sure it'll drop back down, but now they have to make up for 2 yrs escrow. I hate this. It seriously makes me want to be sick.

quick hi... we're all well, but just nutty. I'm tired. The inlaws visit - I'll get to that later, but long story short, I took a nap with Mia and they let Nicolas watch stuff we don't (Power Rangers, Transformers) and I've been up practically all night with him since. I told them no before I put Mia to nap, so I think I'm more ticked they didn't listen than anything. My husband most of all.

I've been browsing ads for May trips trying to find some cheap deal to get Carlos to say the trip is back on. Airfare for 4, 4 nights at POP, base tickets & dining was $2200. He thinks I'm warped because I don't think that is bad at all. Remember our cheap beach trip? Um, I think that went over that amount by the time you add everything together. I'm hoping some great special comes up between now and then. No vacation next year gives me nothing to look forward to.

I'm thinking of making a Disney Planning Book. That way, even if I'm not going next year, I can enjoy the planning. I thought of making Mickey Head tabs for it, and doing sections like dining, etc. and when I see reviews and think, I MUST go there, I can just print it out, slap it in and have it there for me. I'm working on a similar thing for Christmas, so it would be fairly easy to modify I think.

I hope everyone is doing good. I noticed there are 4 pages that I need to catch back up on. I'm always behind on everything it seems like. I'm so glad that soccer ends this week (and I think Nicolas is too!). My BF called and Nicolas was talking to her and told her it ended this week and that was a good thing.

Kara - your trip must be coming up soon. Were you still going to get to meet up with Cammie? If so, YOU MUST have a drink together and take a pic. Something yummy too!

I was just catching up on the last few days of what you all were talking about and I see Debbie6221 ask where I was. How sweet. I am just swamped. We leave in 9 days and I am starting to feel the stress! (Good stress, but stress all the same.)

I took today to just be with the kids (day off) we went to Chuck E Cheese all day. I tried to not worry about packing but allowed a few minutes to try to get them new pants for the trip. (I like to bring black legging type pants for the kids at night, lightweight but warm for the cold evenings.) I got them for DD14 but will go get the younger 2 later, they were in Chuck E. mode (you know he is Mickey's long lost family ) My DH was actually given today off, he went in but his boss said he had to go home because he is a veteran. So, he enjoyed a relaxing day (good thing he's still in a cast, otherwise he'd have had to rake the yard!)

I have spent a lot of the last few days looking at new cameras (mine broke on Halloween) and doing theings like cleaning, getting the car ready (both cleaned out and oil change, that sort of thing) and picking up and sorting Girl scout cookies, etc. Lots to do. So, I will be on less till I am ready, but will try to get on at least in the evenings. It's just so much work getting ready, as you all know, and you feel like you have all the time in the world and then all of a sudden you have no time at all!!!

I missed reading everyone's posts, will catch up soon. Now I am off to organize Disney notes, and I need to order the CRT dessert soon so I want to find that info tonight in my many, many bookmarked pages.

Oh, while I am thinking about it, DH truly is a computer genius, so if ever you have questions I can pass them on. And he uses a CPAP for apena, has for many years. We BOTH sleep better with it!

I find it funny that when you are tired you paint a bedroom organize a disney trip and sew. I cannot even get out of bed. I am having the same problem with energy this medicine is making me exhausted. I am going to have to go on b12 yucko!
I know what you mean about money things are tough and we are going to disney with our tax money we NEED a break!

Oh, I just hope we get a tax refund check this year. We have it set up so we pretty much break even each year. Which is good because that means we get our money and the gov't isn't playing with it instead of us, but I love getting that big lump sum.

And Jeff's company still owes us money for the sale of our house. We took a hit by taking the first offer, so they agreed to compensate us for the loss we took. Still haven't seen that money. And my idiot husband hasn't submitted ANY of his cell phone bills for the past 6 months. That's almost $800!!!! I could kill him sometimes. He's a great manager and businessman, but not when it comes to home life. I mean, he's so disorganized - we're talking $800 that luckily I remembered!!!

I'm putting together a budget today. I've never budgeted before (at least not one we've ever followed) but it's really necessary now. The house decorating will just have to wait for a while. If Jeff's pay gets restructured, hopefully we can bank a little this year, and then resume our "normal" life, but with him in the auto business, he's scared. I can tell when I talk to him.

OK, enough talk about money (or lack thereof!), on to better things!

I'm doing a couple of loads of laundry, then I need to clean the bathrooms, then do my nails tonight. Tomorrow I can pack and we'll be out of here around 6:30 Friday morning. We need to leave early to miss the traffic in Jax, but then we'll hit Orlando rush hour. Either way, we're gonna hit traffic in one of the two cities. Yikes!

Planning to meet Cammie and her girls for lunch on Saturday at MK. She's already had 2 dismeets so I'm just another notch on her belt....

Kara- Woo Hoo Disney. I hope in March we can snag sometime together. It would be so nice meeting those I talk to so much. We have never lived on a budget either but we are now talking to going to one car a minivan and then dumping the other 2 Mike only works 2 days a week so we really are together most of the time.
