Debbie......Hugs and Prayers..I sent you an email. where did you get the shirt...Will trade brother for Fastpass? That's cute. So is the Nice list one..got that for my DD too.

Pam2: Yeah!!! You got a Wii....they are hard to come by. I began searching a few months ago and one day was running errands and tried 4 places..finally I called Wal Mart from my cell phone and they had 3. I was like 2 parking lots away, went right over and got one. When I came out carrying it a bunch of people saw it and got excited. One guy yelled to his buddy : They got Wiis!" I think it'll take some getting used to though. I tried playing it in Wal MArt one day and was totally confused. LoL

Tammie...wow you are really a globe trotter!

Camster....cute picture of you and your DDs.

tttessaaa..hi..how are you?

Hi Everyone!

Pam: You're up late! Hope your Holiday prep is going well!

Pam2: DQ is my downfall, too! I was just thinking about asking DH to bring some back from practice - then I poured a Bailey's instead :rotfl2:

Tessa: We call that drawing a raffle. I don't know if we have a name for the drum that we turn. Probably the drum. :goodvibes Anyway, sounds like you are having some fun parties!

Cammie: Thanks for posting the pics! Keep them coming - I know what you mean about your trip putting a crimp in your Christmas prep - we went on a Disney cruise Dec 10-17 in 2005, made it home on the 18th - crazy! I had most of it ready before I left, but did not baking or anything like that! I don't think we put lights up.

Debbie: Sending prayers and PD your way! I had a little scare like that once - most of the time it's nothing, but hard not to worry. Yeah! More pics!

Everyone with a Wii -   My DS has one - I have played a little bit - lots of fun! The last time I was riding a bull and trying to jump hurdles - I laughed until I cried!

I have been busy this week getting my office moved, setting up the computers, cleaning, and keeping my business going, helping DS and his little family get moved in. DH and I have two more nights on our own - then we become a big family again - only he is gone coaching, so :confused3 . I went to the dentist today - hate it. I still have two crowns to get in the next couple of months - I will be so glad to get the work finished. I had a dentist who kept telling me I had no cavities, even though I could have sworn I did. So after several years, my teeth started breaking - my DIL did xrays on me, and guess what! Decay under my fillings  I do like my M&Ms! Anyway I have a new dentist, and between DH and I we have $3500 in work being done - thank goodness for dental insurance!

Well that's my vent for today, thanks so much for listening!

Hi Girls! Just sitting here, killing time until Lauren's basketball practice. Thought I'd post some more pics. (sorry they're big; I can't figure out how to make them smaller!)

Cute pix! Love the girls snowglobe Minnie shirts!!!!

Hanging in there. Tomorrow are the tests. Can you believe I am hardly stressing? It just goes to show you how crazy I really am...I make myself insanely sick to the point of hyperventilating over where I am going for the holidays but I can take a chance there will be a needle biopsy next in stride! Coo Coo!!!!

Tammie...I hate teeth problems!!!!! It is actually a phobia of mine. You are lucky you have dental insurance that covers it! My DH had a ton of work done and the insurance didn't cover much! THANK GOD we are friends with our dentist!

Still waiting on the stuff with DHs work.
Loser note....I don't even know what a Wii is!
See ya later!

I haven't been here in forever!!! Just stopped in quick....I'm coming back later tonight to see all those pic's I'm psyched!!! We go in 2 weeks!
Hi Everyone

Debbie...you don't know what a Wii is? It's a video game system that can be hard to find because they are so popular.

Tammi: Glad you like the Wii. We got one for the girls for Christmas and I must have spent a fortune on games. I think I have bought like 15 games (seriously..and I am thinking about getting another tomrrow.) Sounds like will all like it.

Camster..thanks for the pics. I love that gingerbread house.

Debbie - Thinking about you - I know everything will be okay. Loved the GF pics! The sloped ceilings are so cute!

Pam - you will have lots of fun - if you can ever get a turn :goodvibes

Hi Stephanie! Hi TidoubleGRR! Nice to hear from you!

Hello everyone else! Guess I'd better get some sleep - early day tomorrow!

Debbie,
hope it all goes well.

I am starting to get hyper - stepmum (well my late father's second wife....I guess she is still my stepmum??? ) due at 5pm - and we only just moved the piano from the spare room!!

Tons still to do, just logged on to have a look at emails and somehow got drawn here....:confused3 for the usual 20 min!! Still, I am doing the laundry, eating breakfast and cooking minced beef for a lasagne as well - good job we are good multi-taskers girls!!

Love the pics - especially when the kids are in there, it's what conjures up the magic for me.... makes it all seem like we are a big cosy family!

I bought the Brit guide to Orlando yesterday - another time eater...... and I'm making a tree "skirt" from a Bucilla kit in the evenings (did a fabric pocket advent calendar last year)

Got to go, or I will get VERY stressed by lack of time...

Cheers,
Tessa

Hi Everyone

Great to see you back! Hope you are feeling better and they figured everything out!!! Two weeks?? That rocks!!!!!!! Congrats!

On a funny note....I previewed my post and you guys sent me so many smileys and pixie dust that when I quoted all of you I went over my image limit!!! Too funny! Love you guys!!!

Taylor's field trip was fun yesterday. The weather was beautiful - a little cool fall weather! I got to take her home from school after we got back, and we enjoyed the afternoon. I got to go to a ladies Christmas party and see lots of people that I only get to see once a year, people that I used to work with, and some that I still work with, but don't get to see too often. FUN!

Cammie - I love your pics and the girls' snowglobe shirts! Very cute!!

Debbie - I am thinking of you today. I also love the Will trade brother for Fastpass t-shirt! The Grand Floridian is just beautiful. Keep your pics coming! You are lucky you don't have to deal w/the video games or electronics yet. Just wait!

Pam - I am trying not to get too many Wii games, but I had to get DH a fishing one. I am so excited about that one. He would love to fish a lot more than he does, and maybe this will satisfy him! We'll have to compare notes after Christmas!

Tammie - Bailey's....YUM!! I plan on breaking out the eggnog tonight while I am working on my pictures and playing a Christmas movie. I will also have some pictures to share this weekend. FINALLY. Enjoy your last day of coupledom. I know you'll enjoy having your son and grandkids there though.

Tessa - Send some lasagne over this way! Busy lady! You sew and do crafts, too? I try. I don't think that I could ever complete a project as big as a tree skirt. You'll need to snap a picture and show us. I think that handcrafted is the best! I agree about the pictures w/the kids. I never tire of looking at them either. Have fun w/your "stepmum"! Aren't you celebrating your DD's birthday this weekend, too?

TGIF!!! and have a fantastic weekend, everyone!

:grouphug: to all!
Pam2

Cammie & Debbie - Great pics! Thanks for posting them.

Debbie - Hope everything's good.

My mom goes in for a needle biopsy of the mass on her lung on Wednesday. I hope they don't change the date again because I can't stand waiting all this time. She is so nervous about it and I can't do a thing to help her.

It is so nice to read all your posts. I am glad you are all doing well.

Wow! Thinking about you and your mom, too!

Disneyohana - to you! Hope everything goes ok for your mom!

Debbie - Hope all went well for you today. Let us know when you can! for you too!

Pam2 - Did you say "fall weather"? I wouldn't mind some of that right now! Don't get me wrong, I love winter weather around Christmas - the chilliness, the snow. But it's been downright miserable since we got back from Disney. All week, it hasn't been above 30 degrees. The girls first day back at school on Monday, I was out shoveling snow and slush. Half my driveway has been covered in ice all week and it's snowing again right now!:scared1: Supposed to go up to 45 tomorrow - so it should all melt. But expecting another messy day on Monday!

Tessa - How do you do it? God bless ya! I wish I was craftier, but it's just not in me! I did spend 3 hours today decorating and hanging fresh wreaths for the windows of my house. Hated every minute of it, but it does look pretty!:santa:

Pam - How much is each Wii game? I just got my daughter the Nintendo DS. Had to get the two Hannah Montana games, of course, and then the salesgirl talked me into a Mario Bros. game she said was fun. The three games cost $95! Almost as much as the game system. Thinking the Wii may be a purchase I have to make as a birthday gift in March. Looking for things my daughter and her friends can do when they're hanging out. Can't wait to hear what you all think of it.

Tammi - Ever since you mentioned Bailey's the other night, I've been craving some! Have you ever tried the mint-flavored? I do also have egg nog in the house. We're decorating our tree tonight - what should it be? Egg nog or Bailey's? How about Bailey's IN egg nog?

Hi to everyone else. Hope all have a good night. I'll probably post more pix later. Pam - looking foward to seeing yours!(no pressure!)

Cammie

Typically the games are between $19.99-$49.99. I try to watch for sales like Buy 2 get 1 free or something. I bought a bunch of games and if they want any more they can buy them second hand at Gamestop.

I think you can use most Nintendo games on the Wii as well including Nintendo DS. We have a PS2 so no combining those. Cooking Mama game is on sale at Circuit City this week for $29.99 (normally $49.99) and SUper MArio Galaxy is big, I heard. I can't wait to play Big Brain Academy..my mind needs some serious sharpening! lol

Lisa.....hi stranger. I am glad you stopped by. Your mom hasn't had the biopsy yet? Keep us posted..think positive thoughts. I'll say an extra prayer tonight.

Pam

Forgot...Debbie...best wishes on your test on Friday!

Thanks!! Love ya Pam!!!

Welll.....I went in and they did see calcification and want to needle biopsy a couple spots. They said that it is USUALLY all just fine so I am counting on that!!! They said about 80% of the time it isn't cancer so......... we will see. Needle biopsy is on Decmber 13th. I am really emotionally exhausted at this point and am going to try and go to bed early.

Lisa... I hope your Mom is OK. I really appreciate how fast they have done everything for me. I hope the same for your Mom.
