Thanks Debbie! I can't believe we got everyone looking at the camera, with eyes open, and babies not crying! :goodvibes

Tammie - Your family is beautiful! I bet that you are so proud and feel so blessed. Those babies - I just want to squeeze those cheeks, or kiss them! They are very precious children, all 3 of them! I will get my baby fix a week from Saturday. I am babysitting my neighbor and good friends' 2 children, a boy 2 1/2, and girl 6 mos. I need to get back into the swing to get ready for my neice in January! Thanks for sharing your pictures. The family portrait will make a great Christmas card!

My SIL emailed me that she can bump up her time to 4 instead of 5 so that helps alot....I am destressing now...I think we can manage now to go over there for a couple hours and still do dinner with my Mom...:goodvibes
I am always REALLY bad when I am in the middle of that not knowing/not being able to control part.........
On to happy thoughts!

Glad things are working out! cute pics! That Bruce - he keeps swallowing people! Myles is still talking about my pic in Bruce's mouth - he is a little traumatized. He says, "he's not very nice - grandma got stuck - papa had to get you out!" :rotfl2:

Here's another view of this shot...DS was in shock. I still can't believe he actually went up there.......

I love it!!!

Debbie, no no no don't stop!!!!
Love the pics -hoping we can do the same next year - did you use a tripod for the night shots??

Sorry can't help with the family thing... mine are too widespread to see all at once anyhow... Mum and sis are in Orkney, one brother now in Canada, one in Surrey UK. I see mum once a year in the summer, one year she flies to us (maybe by broomstick - sorry mum!!), next we trek to her. I see sis every other year when we go up. Never see brothers except weddings and funerals.

Dad died, but he lived in France anyhow, but "stepmum" coming to us for eldest dd family celebration of her 7th birthday a week Friday (birthday not till 12th, but weekend suits better). So will also do a mini Christmas then.

So we only really have DH family to visit. They will not come to us cos of other son's family being nearby to them, so we always go there.... One year I can see myself just saying no and staying home with visit to them for lunch, but not yet....

Loving all the family pics - must get some together - I'm sure I have some on photobucket somewhere, so will give it a go.

Tessa

Debbie - Please don't stop posting the pictures, they are great, and I love seeing them!! ...except that you are putting me to shame! I haven't done a thing w/mine. My plan is to this weekend, after I finish w/the tree tomorrow night. I cannot wait to see my Photpass pics, either. So, hopefully I will be posting my pics starting next week! I was wondering the same thing - did you use a tripod for your night shots? That one of the castle w/the icicles is fantastic!! I bought a special compact tripod for the trip, then forgot it! I hope that some of my night pics turned out OK.

Tessa - Your daughter and I share the same birthday - Dec 12! I am not celebrating mine so much any more! Just kidding. DH and I are celebrating both of our birthdays on our date night tomorrow night. We are going to some fussy place where nothing on the menu sounds good to me. Clients have taken him there, and he insists that it's wonderful, but I am not a fussy food person. I do not think that food has any business costing that much money. We'll see. Also, I can't wear jeans, and when I am not at work, that is what I wear.

I did some Christmas shopping at lunch today!! Yippee!! I got DD10 the HSM bedding and alarm clock! I also picked up some things for the Girl Scout leaders. I ordered some things online for family yesterday, too, and am slowly crossing off of my list and adding to the list of stuff I have for our girls. Again, YIPPEE!!! I am getting there slowly! I am much better prepared for Christmas on our non-Disney trip years! That's OK! The girls aren't asking for a Wii, but I have decided that I want to get them one, and they are hard to find! I am not paying EBay prices for one, but am hitting the pavement early Saturday and Sunday AMs to try to find one! I am offically on a mission. Also, MIL has bought each of the girls a Wii game. I HAVE to find one now!

Is anyone else a list person? I know I've said this, but I have lists of my lists. It's the only way I can function! It's crazy.

Also, I love this time of year, and I love shopping, but does anyone else feel that there are so many teachers to give gifts to? DD14 has 8 teachers plus a band private lesson teacher. DD10 has one teacher, but several (I need to find out how many - 7?) specials teachers -- library, music, PE...She also has after school care teachers, and I think there is 5 of them. Then, there's Sunday School teachers, Bible Study teacher, 2 Girl Scout leaders. We don't do much for all I've mentioned, but I like to do a little something for them. I do like it, but it is a lot to keep up with!! I am ranting, but DH is darned lucky that I do all of it. I like to gripe a little that I have to be responsible for all of it, but I guess I wouldn't have it any other way (the control freak in me??). Also - I have trouble thinking of what to do for the people I work with. They've given me nice things, like Amex and restaurant gift cards and spa treatments, but I can't do that for the 7 people that I work with over here! I think that this year I am making some candied pecans and wrapping them up in cute packaging. I know it's all in the spirit of giving, but I feel bad when I am given a $100 restaurant gift card and I give them some candied pecans! Did I mention that some of them make about 8-10 times more than I do? It still makes me feel bad.

I am using one of my gifts from last Christmas, a 3-hr. spa treatment, next Friday, leaving work for a 2-5pm appt, then going home. I'm happy excited!!!

TGTF! I am so ready for the weekend! Have a great day everyone!

I did all of the above for our sept07 trip, did I ever over plan, going back this Jan08,gonna have a better time now that I can let my hair down.

Hi everyone !!! After looking at everyones photos, I feel compelled to post. Thank you all for sharing. I'm still trying to organize my photos from our trip (yes, Debbie I will come through on my promise of a TR of some kind -- it may not be until Spring, but I will get it done).:thumbsup2

Ever since we got home from WDW in mid-Oct, it's been one thing after another. Between getting swamped at work, DS' sports (first football, now basketball), DS and school, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and now the holidays -- I haven't had a chance to breathe... Then again, I do believe I'm preaching to the choir.:goodvibes

I have a lot of catching up to do on the thread. I'm hoping to steal some time away for myself this weekend, if the computer at home cooperates -- it's been a little squirrelly lately. I want to read about everyone's adventures....

Hope you are all doing well. I'll post more later.... Aloha -- keahi

GREAT to see you Keahi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking forward to hearing from you more. I missed you!

I am sitting here watching Zoey 101, even after DD10 is in bed. That's sad.

More great pics, Deb! The one of you, DM and DD is a good one! You also got some really good parade pics. Aren't the Osborne lights breathtaking? I tried describing it to my parents before they saw it, and there's just no way to describe the greatness of them. I thought they must leave them up all year, but one of the CMs said they start putting them up in August.

Hi, Keahi!

Welcome evenpar4me!

Back to laundry! Just took a little break!

Goodnight friends! Tomorrow is Friday, and I am so glad!!!!

:grouphug: Pam2

Debbie - Pixie dust pixiedust: to your DH! I forgot to say that last night!

I think I am eating way too much peppermint bark and chocolate covered cherries. Those are my 2 major weaknesses this time of year! Not to mention the cookies, cakes, pies, and other candy...:rolleyes1

TGIF, everyone!!
:hippie: Pam2

HI everyone! I just missed a whole day yesterday. I have been sick all week - just won't admit it! :rolleyes1 Finally feeling better today. I was at the fairgrounds this afternoon setting up a booth for a bazaar. Tonight I am enjoying a little peace and quiet before the kids move in next week!

Keahi: Nice to hear from you again! Welcome back!
Pam2: I was going to say pace yourself, it's only the 1st tomorrow, but DH is out of town coaching tonight, so I got a DQ combo meal and a huge brownie earthquake sunday!!!! I only had a bowl of cereal all day before that...so at least it was lunch and dinner, but I can't say anything about your sweets! :thumbsup2 I'm jealous of your spa day!

Debbie: still lovin the pics! Looks like your kids liked HDDR. Anxiously waiting news for your DH!

Evenpar4me: Welcome to the craziness!

Hi all!

Thanks for the pictures Debbie! I always love seeing Disney photos. Hope you are breathing a sigh of relief about Chrsitmas Dinner.

Tammie..what a cute family and those 2 little angels..sooo cute.

Hi Ahibird!

Pam2: Guess I do need a ticker. Thanks for the reminder. I wish we were there now!!I am looking forward to staying at the Poly. I wanted to stay for 9-10 nights, but we don't have enough DVC points so we're doing 3 nights at the Poly and 6 nights at Beach Club Villas. I am most excited about the Poly..to be on the monorail and watch Wishes from the beach, Kona Cafe, and the atmosphere. I loved Hawaii when I went then in high school and it reminds of it. I haven't told DH and won't until we pull in! Our 15th wedding anniversary is in 2 years so I either want to go on a 7 day Disney Cruise or go to Hawaii!
