Well girls it has been a crazy couple of days here. I am so stressed out I could pull my hair out.
My Cousin (20) went into pre term labor yesterday. She is only 30 weeks along and they cannot get the contractions to stops they could only get them to be less intense. They have given her steroid shots and will stop the medication tomorrow to see if things stop or stay the same, but if they don’t they are going to let her labor and give birth to her 3lb baby.
I was crying all morning until I finally got to see her yesterday. To top it all off my aunt (her mother) was having a kidney stone removed surgically. So we had to tell her all of that when she woke up from surgery.
My heart is just breaking we are so close and have been thru this entire pregnancy I just want her and the baby to be okay. Thanks for listening.
O.K now onto Dis matters.
Cammie- Your Baby Lauren is living my life (almost) my parents divorced when I was 3 and we call my dad a 4 hour dad. He is only there when it is convenient to him. I didn’t realize this until I was about 14 years old. I finally had enough and confronted him and my step mother. I refused to go over on the weekends anymore and basically since have let him make contact. My mother was always honest with me and always told me that our relationship was just that OURS! She taught me that I needed to discuss these things with him, but she would be there to listen. To this day I still am not close to him even though they now have my sister (who I adore). I let him make the moves I realize he will never change but it takes learning that on your own. I hope this story helps.
Kara- Try robitussin DM it helps clear out that gunk in your chest. Sleep Sleep Sleep.
Renee- I think we were separated at birth. We think so much alike I wish you lived up here.
Laura- As for a trip what about Italy? Nov. is low season there and you can get a really good deal on a package for about 1600/person. DH and I went there (he grew up there) and it was amazing we were engaged there too. It is nothing but relaxing and beautiful.

But mostly the heat. Like you said, I just need to find my motivation. That is my biggest hurdle. That and I like to make excuses for myself....
. For Now labor has stopped they are going to keep her to make sure that it is safe for her to go home on bed rest. I am thinking of having her here as she is living with her mother until her husband (in the Army) gets his new assignment. At least Mike and I have medical training and there is just 3 of us compared to 8 of them. She is holding strong and is now trying to reach the 32 week milestone.
I know it is completely unfounded after all how many fires and shinkings actually happen. Then again I also watched the movie "inferno" ( I think that is what it was called it was again a diaster movie from the 70's) It took my parents a few years before you could convince me I wasn't going to die in a hotel fire. Don't even get me started on Airport '77. Needless to say I don't watch horror flicks. I'll figure something out.
), and I got rid of stuff in the pantry.
But so help me, I'm still gonna lay down the law about cleaning up. And I will NOT clean up after dinner tonight. Seriously. I won't.
