Looking for Control Freaks & Worry Warts - Part 4!!!

Oh Deb I am so sorry for your loss! She looks like she was a wonderful dog! My heart goes out to you and your family!:grouphug:

Debbie - I am so very sorry. She was beautiful. It's hard to think of the words to say at a time like this, when someone hurts so much. We love you!

Debbie, my condolences on the loss of your fur-baby. I've been there and I know the pain. I hope you are doing ok. HUGS...

Lydia - I would like to zap you for introducing me to etsy. I have been Christmas shopping this am, instead of getting my chores done....:rolleyes1

Happy weekend, all!

Oh Debbie - my heart just breaks for you!

Take care of yourself and just feel what you have to feel. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

Hang in there!

debbie-- i know your pain all too well. we love you and it is okay to just cry. I didn't think I would ever stop but you will.

vent/rant....okay i went to the scrapbook store to use the die cutter machine this morning to make letters for the playground poster. I called Tim to tell him I was running behing plab and not to expect me for lunch. so what does my lovely husband do...call me an yell at me that I'm not home. oh dear god above I about killed him. Apparently the girls were a little loud and unruly for him. Sheesh! What does he think I do every day. So came home and all was fine. I could go nuts some days.

The puppy is coming to our house. They had such bad allergies they need to get rid of her asap so I will have puppy indefinately. Yes I am nuts!

happy monday! dog is still here. Tim has decided that she needs to stay. EKK! I'm not so happy with this idea. Oh well today will be the test. Two kids, two dogs and things to do. oh and the kids are really over tired. I don't know how they can be so tired just after waking up. The 2 yr old is saying leave me alone and no one is touching her. What a great day!

Tina it is so close to leave! Hope packingis going well.

Kara--hope ally does well today. She'll have a great day.

Debbie - I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. She sounded like an amazing dog. It will get better over time...but you'll never forget her. Hugs to you....:hug::hug:

Had quite the weekend...a funeral on Saturday, but it brought some closure to a very messy situation that DH was dealing with at work. So I'm hoping he's back to normal now. He's been in a funk lately because of it.

Sunday we went to Darien Lake (used to be Six Flags). I remember now why I don't care for any parks except Disney. The clientele was much to be desired, and the facilities are getting so run down, it seems the park doesn't even care to update or put money into the place. On the flip side DS got to ride a bunch of stuff by himself (!!!) and with DH. I was stuck watching from the sidelines. DH wouldn't even let me go on the antique cars! :lmao: So instead my treat was the carousel...whooooooooooooooooooooo. At least DS loved it, that's all that matters. We're trying to give him a few last hurrahs before DD arrives. ;)

Happy Monday everyone!

Happy Monday! Happy 1st day of school, for those who started. I am going thru w/drawl from not getting calls at my desk from Taylor! :lmao: It's weird. Even tho I wasn't w/them daily, knowing they were home and I could talk to them was different. I do miss them! I have a big middle schooler and a sophomore now. No more elementary school for me.:sad2:

Hugs to everyone:grouphug: TTYL!

THANK YOU ALL FOR CARING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Went to Wisconsin to deal with all those Chelsea memories Saturday to Sunday. I know it seems pathetic but I feel like you all understand what I'm going through. We feel like we have lost a family member. This grieving process is so sad and so draining. I guess what is making it even harder is that to keep Chelsea in our lives as a happy active dog we did alot for her! 4 adults all with a role in her care. She needed constant walks and everyone had their shift, she needed regular feedings and medicine at designated times, she need insulin at very specific times. She couldn't be left alone for certain lengths of times. She had a very rigid schedule even though she was living a great dogs life. It seems to make it harder because none of us can get the schedule out of our heads. We keep going to do things we needed to at the times we used to. I feel depressed and my body aches. We laughed and played games all weekend but it's like as so as your brain has any downtime you just cry again.

Well, thanks for listening. I know this will all pass but I appreciate you guys listening. I only have you guys for this because my family all wants me to be strong for my Mom. I am having trouble with that.

Today I find out what class Elizabeth is in for 1st grade. Wish us luck with that! I'm nervous about how it will all play out......

OK jumping in here for a quick Monday morning hello! I can't believe we leave in a few days! Very stressed out about printing out boarding pass tomorrow morning I hope we get "A" section! Totally stressing out about some re-packing that has to be done. DH asks me today if there's anything else I need, IDK I've been trying to get to the carryons, but once I close and lock my bedroom door, there's a little knock - "whatcha doin?" so I haven't been very successful. Hoping DSs and mp3s are going to be enough to keep them busy on the flight. Probably grab a deck of cards too.

Very excited - DD10 tried on her Belle dress that I made her last year and it still fits! I asked her if she would still want to wear it in 2 years when we go again and she dramatically said yes! Great - where am I going to pack these dresses? I wasn't planning on bringing them, but apparently there's an expectation to have these dresses at Disney. I've created 2 princesses!princess:princess:

Just saw pictures of resort windows all decorated - thought I could throw something together, but I don't know if I'm going to have the time. Why? do you ask - DH just told me his iron-ons are peeling off!:scared1: I have 2 days to somehow print out pictures and re-iron them onto shirts. I think I might just printout the iron-ons and then actually do the iron-on to new shirts when we get there. Save some time.

Hope everyone is doing Fantabulous with school starting and summer ending!

Here she is..Ellie the dog. Tim really wants to keep her but me not so much. Only time will tell.

debbie- i hurt so bad when max left, i just wanted to stay in bed for a month! Do what is good for you. That is what is most important. You just need to be healthy to take care of your kids. We are here for you.

wasn't thr thought with the new car to improve gas mileage?:rotfl2:

Actually, this car DOES get better gas mileage than my Rendezvous - that is when I'm not gunning it! vroom vroom! :rotfl2:

Debbie - I didn't realize that Chelsea was a big dog, and I know this will sound weird, but for some reason, I always get MORE attached to big dogs. I can still cry when I think of having my first lab put down 20 years ago! And as much as I loved Bella, I know that Bucky will be tougher for me to let go of when the time comes. I feel so bad for you because I have been there and done that too many times, and it never gets easier. But believe me, it will get better....

OK, a couple of Ally pics from her first day of school today....

Sounds like she had a good day, but she said her teacher is STRICT!!! I'm not sure what "strict" is to an 8 year old, but whatever.......

Kara - OMG first day of school! She looked so cute!

Hi girls crazy here working like crazy picking up a ton of OT since it is around and I have Tabitha to babysit. I HAVE been checking in but no able to take time out to respond. We had to cancel our trip to NH since we both picked up OT and we are planning something for Late Sept early October. I am thinking we may make our way down to PA or NYC I love NY in the fall so beautiful. Also we have had bad tire luck and replaced the brand new (to us anyway) Jettas tires after Mike drove over a pile of wood and POP :sad2:
As for health new nothing has changed I am still getting Aunt Flo every 4 or 5 days lasting for 5 days etc... Mike has made his mind up that I will be going to Boston to be seen and he has had enough. We though all would be solved but not yet. It looks as though I will be following up with a reproductive endocrinologist and a Fertility doctor so we can get things rolling. :headache: Miss you all a ton Maybe we will find time to DP on friday nights again and talk and talk and talk:yay:

Debbie- We love you and I am so sorry for your loss. We are here for you anytime you need us.

Kara- I cannot believe how much Allie has grown since last year you should put up a comparison from 3 years ago last year and this year. I bet it would be amazing to see how much she has changed.

Cammie- How are things going? Surviving the heat storms humidity and the fall weather that is going to hit at the end of the week?

Tina- It's almost time have a blast and I can't wait for you to fill us in. Do the girls know yet? Take lots of pics and enjoy your time away!

:woohoo:Okay here I am less than 24 hours away!!:cool1::yay::dance3::cheer2:

I didn't think it was going to happen, but it really is. I'd like to say thank you to everyone here on this board who has helped me survive these last few months! I don't know how I would have made it not being able to tell my kids and plan with them, but all of you have helped to make it possible. so Thank you! You've listened to my rants about how crazy DH is , we've all rode the roller coaster of the Lala life - should we go:), no we shouldn't:mad:, yes we should:). Until we all finally said to DH 'shut up and go ya jerk and to hell with the cost' Well maybe not exactly those words.:rolleyes1

So here I am boarding passes just printed, still need to pack a few things tonight and trying not to jump out of my skin while the girls are asleep in their rooms. They STILL don't know!! I'm shocked I've been able to keep it secret this long. So tomorrow we'll be up at 4am, dragging them to the car and off to the airport. I will try to remember to take pictures of their faces when they read that the plane we're taking is going to Orlando. I'm pretty sure DD10 will figure it out by then. Last night she tried on her Belle dress that I made her last year and it fit. I asked them if they wanted to still bring the dresses or if they felt they were too old for them and they both said they would always want to dress up like a princessprincess: when they go to Disney. :guilty: Yeah - I wasn't going to bring the darn dresses, but now I have to for the 1900 Park Fare meal. Here's a picture of Belle and Giselle.

Oh on another note (sorry if it's kinda personal) - Aunt Flo (that B****) who should have visited two weeks ago, has of course dropped in TODAY of all days. WHY DOES GOD/MOTHER NATURE DO THESE THINGS!! I thought I was in the clear! But honestly it wouldn't be a Disney trip without her.

Tina - have a truly MAGICAL trip!!! I'm so excited for you to be surprising the girls this way - make sure you get lots of pics!!!!!

To everyone else...... happy Tuesday! Getting ready to make shirts for our Disney weekend. - we're leaving around 7am on Saturday morning, going to MK for the day, then we have breakfast with the princesses at Epcot on Sunday then home around 3ish. Should be fun!!!!

Tina - HAVE A WONDERFULLY MAGICAL TIME! :wizard: I cannot even believe you've kept the secret this long! :worship:

Lord knows, I couldn't.:rolleyes1

Kara - I'll check in with you before you go. What shirts are you thining of making? Is this the trip with you, Ally, and the neighbors? I thought that was in Sept. I'm confused - I guess I should read back to figure it out.

Debbie - Hope you and your family are doing better. One day at a time, girlfriend!

Hi to everyone else. I've just read this page so I have no idea what's going on with everyone. We are enjoying our last week of summer - Lauren starts a week from today. Still need to buy her "first day of school" outfit. Yes, we still do that.:)

The nurse I interviewed last week was wonderful and she worked this past Saturday night - 11pm - 7am. And she didn't need to wake me up for anything! :yay: She seems very competent so hopefully she'll stick around. Who knows?

Have a good day everyone!

Oh Kara - just saw Ally's first day to school pix! She looks soooo cute! She matches from head to toe!:cutie:
