We are planning a very budget vacation this year. We are driving down, staying offsite (hopefully in a condo) and only spending a couple of days at the parks. Very low key.

In the past, we've stayed onsite. But we've also stayed at Emerald Island, Terra Verde and Windsor Palms. I am pretty familiar with those communities, and have done a lot of reading about Windsor Hills.

We are going at the end of March, and are hoping to find something for less than 500 for the week. I've seen lots of stuff in the price range of 550-650 that would be great, but I'm really hoping to keep it to less than 500. The less we spend on transportation and lodging, the more time we can spend in the parks!

It's kind of an adventure setting such a tight budget this year, but I know that others have been in my situation some years, so I'm hoping for someone out there with some great tips! :)

Hop on Ebay and find a posting by Redweeks4less. They list many timeshare rentals and have a 100% positive rating with over 1200 reviews. They have posting for February already, but it may take another month before they post any for March. Just email them and ask them if they think they may have anything available during March.

If that doesn't work, check on Ebay for other listings. Some people book their timeshares then have to change their plans. I have found some cheap rentals this way. I have paid as little as $99 for one week in a 1 bedroom (in Hawaii no less).

Check Skyauction as well just in case, but they do not tend to have much availability in season. They also are more likely to get last minute availability so I doubt they will have anything in March for another month.

Sometimes, the condos at Windsor Hills will rent for as little as $299/week. Dave Robinson sends out emails with discounted unit availability.

Check out Amazingdisneyhomes.com. We are staying in their condo in June. Frank is very professional and he has outstanding reviews on this board and others. His cost starts at $99/nt. No hidden fees or anything else.

I've heard a lot of great things about vacationcentralflorida.com for renting a condo or townhouse at Windsor Hills and their rates are great, even during peak seasons.
