Looking for an electronic Calendar

I have searched and searched and finally last night my super intelligent DH said that I should ask DisBoarders so here I am!

I am searching for an electric calendar that clearly states the Month, date and day of week....nothing more. No humidity readings, or temperatures inside and out or even the time of day. It could be battery operated.

It needs to be in very large at least 2 -3 inch easily visible letters. It needs to be each day not the entire month.

Has anyone ever seen such a thing? I have a family member with memory problems and just having something with the day of week and date on it would help so much with taking daily medicines. She can never remember what day it is and the print on the front page of a newspaper is just too small for her to read. She does not have a computer so that does not help.

We just got my mom one for xmas from www.independentliving.com as she too was having problems remembering days of the week.The one we got her is BIG (19" x9.5"x4") and displays the date,day AM/PM and has a big face clock.We mounted it on the wall of her den as that is where she spends a lot of her day and she just loves it.the catalog has a lot of really great things for people

Thanks for the fast reply!

I went to the site and I found a few wall clocks that have a calendar feature on them. We looked at one of these at Radio Shack and asked her to tell me the date and day of week from it and she could not do it. It just has too many other numbers on it that confused her to pieces.

Am I missing the one you are talking about or do they all have extra features like temp and etc on them?

I just reread your post and went to look again realizing that I was looking under the digital clocks! I found the one you are talking about and you are correct it will work!

FYI just remember it is a big clock!! I was a little surprised when I took it out of the box but then I realized we were looking for function over style and my mom loves it so I guess that is all that matters
