Looking for a Suggestion...

So my family and I will be going to Disney on August 7th and have been there together many, many times. Being the good daughter that I am, I volunteered to take my family out to dinner one night, with the only stipulation being that it be on Disney property. In turn, they told me that if I am paying, I get to pick the place.... so basically I'm looking for suggestions.

I'd like to take them somewhere we haven't been a million times (Chef Mickey's and Ohana), and it can be character or not. It can also be at any of the parks, resorts or DTD, as well have a rental care and can get around easily.

Recommendations please?!

DW and I like The Biergarten, at Germany, in Epcot. Fun atmosphere, with music and good food.

I came over to say the same thing. The buffet has enough variety to appeal to everyone, while still being "different' from the typical buffet. The entertainment and atmosphere are top notch. It just seems like a fun place to have a big family dinner!

How much do you think you want to spend and what kind of food do you like? Also, what are the ages in your family?

Some of our favorites are Flying Fish on the Boardwalk, Chefs de France in Epcot, and The Wave in the Contemporary :thumbsup2

Oh yes! Biergarten is great for families! We had 13 of us there between the ages of 7 and 63 and we all enjoyed it.

We've definitely never been to Biergarten so I am going to check out the menu but I definitely like the reviews you guys are giving so far.

I'm not looking to spend a fortune, but want to give my family a good meal that they wouldn't have picked on their own. As for ages, we are all big kids...25, 21, 16, mom and dad!

Count me in with the Biergarten voters.
Wide selection of food, great atmosphere, entertainment while you eat.
Could be a great place for a family dinner - especially if no one in your party has been there before.

My top 2 picks are Flying Fish Cafe (absolutely hands down delicious) and Boma Dinner (that restaurant keeps getting better and better).

I'd say if you're interested in a buffet, choose Boma! But if you're interested in a service meal, choose Les Chefs de France, or KOna Cafe if the prior does not interest you.
