Ah, day four of the school week and we are still on time
this may be a record!

DD10 is experimenting daily with hairstyles
(who knew she was girly?)

her hair behaves

Open House went very well
saw all parents save one, who noted in advance they couldn't make it

no drama
at least in my classroom


funny connection
one of my farm children
is good friends with farmers from my childhood home
my grandparents will be thrilled to hear of it
4H connects them
even with an hour distance

Rather sad commentary on today

two of my sixteen students
are being raised by grandma

parents unfit

God bless the grandparents
who stepped in so foster care wasn't needed

My friend across the hall promised to show me the ropes so we shall see how it goes...Mom says I better not break a leg before our cruise!

I also joined Wilderness Club, DISNEY CLUB, Early Childhood Education Club, and Teacher Education Club!
