...okay, patting my own back here......it was my twin niece and nephew's birthday (they turned 6) so I went to the Disney store and bought them a G-Force t-shirt (a white one

for Becca and a black one

for Matt), a stuffed animal Juarez ("..you try to put a bow on me and you're gonna lose a FINGER...!")

and Darwin (the 'leader'),

and tickets to see G-Force at the movie theater....

....I went to my brother's house yesterday, and gave my niece and nephew their gifts - THEY LOVED THEM!! In fact, they are leaving for Ocean City, Md and they are taking the stuffed animals with them....

off to show the eye doc how good DD is with contacts
and order hers!

The eye doc visit went well
with a little finagling with the insurance
I saved 140 over what they said it would cost last week!

They ordered DD five months supply of contacts
and if they aren't in by vacation
they will comp her some to take. Very nice!

DD10 went to playground so she didn't have to go to the eye doc with us.
Soon it will be time to pick her up
and 13 wants to stop at the video store
and I want to drop a load of clothes off at the Salvation Army...
all the stuff we couldn't pawn off on the younger neighbors!

I got out of work early today! I had to go to the doctor to get my PPD read!

DD10 was STARVING at playground camp
I didn't pack her a lunch today and she hated the lunch.
We went to McDonalds, so all is well in the world again!

It was warm enough for her to swim today....

more necessities piled up today
the underwater cameras (clearanced at walmart for three bucks!)
the dishwasher soap (so I don't have to buy a huge one for vacation)
and a few snacks (which DH hates when I use suitcase room for,....)

it is too hot for her
and she now hates summer
