I have a question

I am looking for a liner for the small picnic basket which has been discontinued....BUT on the sheet that has the discontinued items listed it says assessories are available until Aug. 2004...I already contacted the person that I usually purchase through but she says I'm out of luck. I don't want to bug her but how do I find out if anything is available?

I've been checking on ebay but really haven't had any luck.
Thanks!

Hi holycow,

The small picnic you're talking about was not in the latest round of retirements (Feb. 2004), which is list I believe you're talking about. Only those items that retired in Feb. have liners, protectors and the like available through Aug. 2004.

HOWEVER....the small picnic is the same size as the cake basket. I think the only difference is that the picnic is a half inch taller than the cake.

Small picnic = 12" x 12" x 6 1/2"
cake = 12" x 12" x 6"

Hope this helps!! Give your consultant a call back and double check, but you should be able to order a cake liner just fine!

holycow, PM me. My DW has a TON of LB stuff. Not sure if she has this, but I'll ask.

Okay, I know I'm a horrible person, but... Madman, have you changed your view on gay marriage? *innocent*

Heh. Caught you before you edited! ;)

Thanks for the replies!

I thought about the cake liner but I would have to do some cutting to make it fit...which really would be fine I guess...thanks for the suggestion!

Wasn't the American small picnic basket one that retired in Feb? Did that one have the same dimentions?...I know that one had 2 liners...one in paprika and one in indigo which were on the retired list...

I really don't know anything about longabeger! I have just acquired a small collection on ebay and now I want some liners for them! lol

I appreciate the info!

Ask you consultant to ask around her branch to find out if anyone has a small picnic liner available. I might have one, but I have to go look at which fabric it is. I tend not to use the liners on the the lidded baskets.

she said she would put the request out to her branch but that was over a week and a half ago and I haven't heard anything...she was going to have the email sent directly to me.

The cake liner wouldn't work too well because the picnic basket liner ties around the handles (I think)...I have the large.

However there are sources in Dresden for liners and you might be able to get one there...especially if you do not need a LB fabric --

Try
www.heartofdresden.com (oh wait that might be lids not liners)
and also
aimeesofdresden.com

Some other LB people might have some liner sources for you too.

Also if you are on aol there is a LB board there where you could post and most likely someone could help you out.
