DH's aunt and uncle live halfway across the country from us so we rarely see them, but they are really DH's only extended family and they send our kids gift cards for their birthdays and a family gift card for Christmas, so we like to send them a gift for Christmas as well. I barely know them, so I always feel like I'm blindly guessing when I decide what to send them, and usually it ends up being something like Hickory Farms.

Ideas on what I can send them? I'd like to keep it between $35-50.

My go to for this is a basket of Jelly, Jams and Preserves, there are lots of places on-line - I like Adcock Pecans out of Tifton GA, they have lots of interesting item ( cranberry preserves ( this is my personal favorite, tangerine jelly, apple butter, pink grapefruit jam lots of others, some of these items are seasonal), other than the jellies and such, old fashion candy, fudge, salad dressing, salsa, Peanuts, and Pecans. I have order for myself, family and friends everyone has always enjoyed items from there. They also have sugar free option as well. As a matter of fact I will be ordering from them today.

Food is my go to gift for people when I don't know what else to get. I like Wolfermans - they have lots of stuff but I like their English Muffins because...who doesn't like an english muffin?

Cuba Cheese in Cuba NY, Harry and David or my personal favorite croissants from William Sonoma.
