Hello everybody!

Normally we would just take a bus to MK then the boat to FW but we are very short on time (only an hour) so we're going to need to take a cab. My question is which way is faster...

A) Take cab to Contemporary then boat to FW

or

B) Take cab to FW then internal buses back to stables

The carriage ride does leave back by the boat launches/ HDDMR/ settlement, right? They didn't tell me when I booked but it looks like thats where the stables are when I looked at the resort map.

Thanks!:goodvibes

You are going to love the haunted carriage ride - The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. We've done it a few times and also are booked for 10/30 this year - taking friends who have never done it before. It does leave back by the stables and area with the animals. If take the boat over, just walk past Hoop De Doo and there is a sign directing you to the path to the right for the pick up area. If you take the bus over, it is about a 3 minute walk over to the pick up area. Drop off is by Crockett's Tavern. If you get there a little early, you can walk through the stable with the horses used at WDW and some memorabilia.

Timing is everything with what would be fastest either boat or bus. I would think the bus would be faster.

Enjoy!

Thank you!

So if we use the bus, what color of internal bus do we take?

Will one have less stops though?
Yes, Orange takes the longest, but it's at most a 5 minute difference, and that can easily be overtaken by a wheelchair or other delay on Purple or Yellow. And if 2 shuttles are waiting at the Outpost, it's not always the case that the one in front will leave first.

So if Orange & another color are both at the Outpost, you might improve your odds of getting there a few minutes faster by boarding the other color, but it's still up for grabs which will get there first.

Thanks! :thumbsup2

And do you agree with PP that we will more than likely make better time using the buses than the boat from CR?

Yes. I'm not that familiar with the boats, but I think I read here that the boat runs about every 15-20 minutes and the trip takes 15-20 minutes.

The bus ride is 10-15 minutes, and with 3 routes running on different schedules, you'll usually get a bus within 10 minutes.
