LOCALS: Is the back entrance through Reams Rd. and Center Dr. still open access?

Route would be:

535 -> Reams Rd -> Center Dr -> Floridan Way (turns into World Drive) -> Loop to bypass the parking gate (we have deluxe AP's so no need to pay).

Anyone know if this is still open without gated or security access? We recently moved to west Windermere (about 3 minutes behind the Magic Kingdom) and it would be great if we could get to the parking lot in less than 10 minutes.

I asked my BFF who lives in the area (and is an AP holder) because she's notorious for using the Reams/Center entrance to bypass and she confirmed that it's still accessible.

We always come in that way when we're staying at the CR.

And what's the best way to go back out to Center Dr from the parking lot?

If you follow the exit signs but stay toward the right there is a place you veer off when all the others go left...it's near the Richard Petty speedway, follow that and you end up going out an exit that has an arm that has to lift (it will automatically), turn right onto there and then take that straight past the GF and back around. I know that is clear as mud but as you are headed to the parking lot look for the gated arm (CM entrance)...you can't get in the parking lot that way but you can leave that way and it keeps you from having to drive up past the toll booths and turn around to go back to Reams Rd.

Yea I am a bit confused. I just don't see how I can get back to Floridian Way. Can this be accessed from any lot? I was in Scar today. Can you post a screenshot of Google Maps showing it or anything? I think it know which gate you may be referring to, I'm just not sure how to get to it.

It doesn't really show that clearly on the maps. The map shows it but without the cones/traffic it's hard to see how you do it. And honestly I am not talented enough to take the picture and photoshop the arrows on it to show you. I will tell you my daughter is a CM and it took her a few tries to figure it out but yes it can be accessed from any lot as you are all exiting out the same way. It makes it so much faster to get home than to go out the "regular" way and have to backtrack through the toll gate to go home.
