Loa ???

Well last Tuesday we got referred over to the planners and got a call back form Karen on Wednesday night. She could not offically get us booked until Friday morning (4/1), on Friday evening we got an email to fill out with all of our information for our LOA. How long did it take for you to get the official LOA back. I guess im just worried about our date being taken or something(even though when I called on Friday Meredith said we were in the computer)

Should I be worried?

Don't sweat it. You've got the place on hold, right? They're not going to give it to someone else. Give them a few days to get back to you with the LOA. You're not their only client!

They told me it would take 7-10 days to get the LOA, and it took 10, or maybe even 11. But your date is being held, the only way they can give it away is if once you get your LOA you don't return it within the time given. So no worries! If you get to the 10 day mark, just shoot an e-mail and they will update you.

I just went back and checked my emails. We called to book on a Wednesday the next day we got an email from Karen confirming the time/date/place and requesting the info they needed to draw up the contract (our resort confirmation number, names, contact info, etc.). On the following Wednesday, one week later, we got the email with our LOA. Hope this helps! Good luck with the waiting - I know it's nervewracking, I felt the same way. I wanted to see it all in writing so I knew we were totally locked in!

After we booked the date they gave us a time period within to return the LOA.
