LL Premier Pass is here!

Thank you. That’s alot for a family of 7! (One 3 1/2 year old, one 8 yr old and one 6 year old plus 4 adults), even with kids being less, plus park tickets. We won’t do it.

Interesting. May I ask how you’re seeing the Epcot 31st sell-out? It’s not on thrill data. I don’t have valid tickets so can only use thrill-data as my source. Not sure if things changed after you saw the 31st sell-out or if I should be updating the master with this info? If you’re still seeing it I’ll update and guess that TD will display it later.

Thrill Data does not have Real-Time results, they don't collect data continuously they only collect data over time. They will eventually mark it sold out.

I use MDE and it's " Search" feature (second Icon from the left on the bottom of the screen) Enter "Premiere" the results provides a link to the Premiere Lightning Lane Screen. Just Click on the Purchase button to see the Calendar of 21 days of availability just like LLMP and/or LLSP.

Click the blue Information Icon on the bottom left of the screen, you will get the static Pricing page view of the Calendar. Any date with a 0 (zero) price is sold out. You can always verify this by Clicking on the Calendar(previous) page's link for any date and the returned result tiles will show the status for each park. The tile will either be "Available" in the top section or "Greyed" out in the lower section.

Did MK today with PP. Even with access to early entry I don’t feel like we could have done much without it. We rode Astro orbiter and people mover first since they don’t have LL, then worked our way around the park counter clockwise going on rides as we hit them. If wait times are accurate we saved at least 400 minutes, not including Tron which we are going back to ride now after a resort break. It was the kind of day where Little Mermaid was a posted 45 minute wait at 10am. Jingle Cruise was 75 minutes. We happened to walk onto HM when it came back online after being down, and when we got off it was also 45 minutes. I’ve done MK before this time of year but I’ve never seen waits like this. Pirates was using its outdoor unshaded queue. BTMR line started across from the ride. PP was so expensive but worth every dime.

I know it’s pretty early into the roll out, but Does any site compile the historical date and times that these have sold out? Feel like that would be most helpful for planning out future trips than just knowing which individual days sell out (which should be pretty predictable based similar to crowd calendars)

Any reports on how LLPP is working out on the busiest of days, like 12/25?
Nope it has been extremely quite as to reports but LLPP is still selling out at MK. Now thru 1/3. And as of today HS is now sold out on 1/2 in addition to 12/27 - 12/31.

Used LLPP today at MK. Being able to ride what we liked when we liked was wonderful. No LL lane was any significant wait and all seemed much shorter than I’d ever encountered. Have LLPP for HS tomorrow. But overall impression for today is that while pricey, it’s a very nice offering.

LLPP is still selling out at MK. Now thru 1/4. And as of today HS is now sold out 12/27 - 1/3. Finally AK has some sell outs today - 12/30.

Epcot is only sold out tomorrow 12/29, and 12/31.

Same here… used LLPP at Hollywood Studios Dec 30. Posted wait times were 100-150 min on most rides. We arrived at noon (coming from west coast, we were not up for an early start). We did everything - even Beauty and the Beast, Muppets, Frozen sing along, and still had time to kill before our 745 dinner. Only wait of more than 5 min in LL was Rockin’ Rollercoaster - it kept going down, so was 20 min for us. We all agreed it was a better day than the VIP tour (but, we know Disney, maybe tour good for those that don’t know Disney). After dinner, took skyliner to Epcot in time to watch the fireworks and then monorail back to resort. All in, one of our best days ever at Disney.

Feel like your experience addresses my question. Late April girls trip with my two (wow is that an old pic in my profile, lol) adult daughters. Fortunate enough to have the means to purchase PPLL as needed for Hollywood Studios and was hoping it meant we could still do most everything we want without rope drop and constantly checking my phone (went to EPCOT for the first time in years and the constant phone checking and zig zagging the park stresses me out now that I'm old). Seems like that's possible with the PPLL. The planner in me is having a hard time letting go of the rope drop advantage! Was thinking about a 'soft' rope drop where we plan to arrive just prior to early entry, hang in the back of the crowd, and maybe do a few things before we start using our passes as the wait times increase. Does anyone have a good strategy or recommendations for this? I know it's driven mostly by what we might want to do twice.....thoughts of what you would do?

I don’t have a comprehensive strategy but do want to warn you that arriving towards the end of early entry at DHS is often a cluster and the security lines are long and getting around non-offsite guests is challenging. I would also add that during busy season lines are already fairly long at end of early entry. I would either wake early and go back for a nap or spring for LLMP as well as LLPP and book your favorite rides through that also so you can do them 2x.

Hmmm, good food for thought. Didn't think about the back up to get in. Guess I've always been there way before opening and never experienced it! Good warning, thanks!

I've been following this thread since the beginning, but this is my first post! I wanted to share my data-driven review of our experience with the Premier Pass for Dec 29 - 31.

I was super excited to hear the announcement of this pass. We had already booked our trip to WDW from Dec 26-Jan 2 before the announcement, and when I heard about the pass I hoped it would make this trip even more magical. And it definitely did.

We got LLPP for HS on Dec 29 for 3 people, MK on Dec 30 for 2 people, and Epcot on Dec 31 for 2 people. We also got LLMP for Dec 29 and 31. On Dec 29 we started the day in AK and used LLMP/SP for 4 rides, rode 7 rides at HS with LLPP, and 3 rides at MK at night with LLMP. The only standby ride we rode was Peoplemover twice.

Summary of 3 days:
  • Rides with Premier Pass: 27
  • Rides with Multi/Single Pass: 10
  • Rides with standby: 2
  • Total rides: 39
  • Average wait: 9min
  • Average posted wait: 70min
  • Average time saved per ride: 61min
  • Shortest waits: Peoplemover 0min, Mad Tea Party 2min, Everest 3min, Navi 3min, Jingle Cruise 3min, Spaceship Earth 3min
  • Longest waits: Guardian’s 22min, FoP 20min, Haunted Mansion 20min, Tron 20min, Soarin’ 20min
  • Shortest times saved: Pirates 5min, Mad Tea Party 13min, Mermaid 16min, Safari 20min
  • Largest times saved: Remy 170min, FoP 165min, Frozen 159min, Tron 125min
  • Total waited: 342min (5.7 hours)
  • Total time saved: 2,368min (39.5 hours)
  • Total cost for Premier+Multi+Single Passes: $2,860
  • Cost per minute saved: $1.21
Subjective Thoughts:

The cost was worth it for us.

Would we go to Disney World again between Christmas and New Years if we got the Premier Pass? Absolutely. Would we go with just Multi Pass? Probably. Would we go with no lightning lane at all? No.

Would we get the Premier Pass for a trip during a less crowded time for a party of 2 or 3? Probably, because being able to tour the parks in an efficient order (a circle), and being able to ride every ride in a day, is not something we’ve been able to easily achieve with regular FastPass+/Genie+/MultiPass. We’ve done it but it felt like the exception not the rule.

Would we get the Premier Pass with a bigger group, like 10 people? No, we’d look into a VIP tour if it was a short trip and rides were our top priority and we could afford it.

Pros:
  • While the parks were packed, it never felt stressful. The crowds didn’t feel impactful like they have on other trips. We were never in a hurry to get to the next ride.
  • The flexibility of riding whichever ride we wanted to next was great. We’d get off of a ride and ask “what should we ride next?”
  • Much less walking than usual. My feet were happier than previous trips.
  • Combining Multi Pass and Premier Pass meant we could skip rides in 3 parks in one day. On Sunday I’m glad we made the Premier Pass our afternoon park, so we could book the morning rides in advance and the evening rides that day during the morning/afternoon.
Cons:
  • The cost was a sticker shock.
  • Premier Passes sold out more than 7 days ahead for all 3 days we booked it for. Dec 29 sold out for HS on the 21st at 7:02am, Dec 30 sold out for MK on the 21st at 7:04am, and Dec 31 sold out for Epcot on the 23nd at 3:27am. (Source: thrill-data . com). We got all 3 on Dec 19.
  • The benefit we got at Epcot felt less than MK and HS. Part of this is there are only a couple of rides with really long waits, and we did MultiPass+SinglePass this day too. I wouldn’t get both Premier and Multi/Single on the same day at Epcot again, even on the busiest day of the year.

I posted a more detailed review with ride wait / time saved breakdown on reddit. I'll share the link in another comment right after this in case linking to reddit isn't allowed. Hope this helps anyone decide whether the PP is worth it for your party!

Edit: Updated total cost and cost per minute saved, since I originally included the cost for the other days of our trip too.
