LL Premier Pass is here!

I like 7 days because you get a look at the potential weather forecast for the trip. Things could change, but I wouldn't book a LLPP if the weather looked terrible, or if my local weather indicated there could be issues with flying.

This makes the think the prices are going to continue to go up. It shouldn't be selling out except on the busiest of days. I realize Christmas is the busiest, but it is surprising to me that so many days around the holiday are also selling out. I wonder what Presidents weekend will be like.

To clarify, only one day is sold out in the coming week and that is Sat, Dec 21st at MK and Epcot. There are no other sell-out days for LLPP even though some of the busiest days are less than 7 days away so all are eligible to book.

I was also thinking of the days that sold out around Thanksgiving.
Yes although we don't know if they have possibly altered availability between then and now. It appears that they have but we will never truly know.

I just didn't want to give the false impression to those waiting to book soon that a lot of upcoming dates were sold out.

I suspect this is why they may want to move LLPPs out to the 30 day mark (at least)… wouldn’t surprise me if they are starting to see people drop VIP tours 7-14 days out and having trouble rebooking them last minute?
Good point! I assumed VIP tour demand would be down anyway since premier passes offer a similar experience as far as flexibility only with a lower cost so a person doesn’t feel like they’re wasting as much money if they don’t want to stay in a park for 7 hours minimum. That’s why we’ve never done a VIP tour, so I’m excited to try the premier pass in just a little over a week! It will be so nice to do rides in order by location rather than walking back and forth across the park!

Good point about the weather; however, it often says it’s going to rain every day just because it will somewhere, so it’s hard to know when it will be a complete wash out! We’ve had quite a few
trips that had rain predicted every day but pretty much just saw the typical afternoon shower.

I really hope they didn’t alter availability unless it was justified by lower demand for multipass or something! LL times seemed pretty normal to me the weekend before Thanksgiving. If they’ve increased capacity/altered availability I think we’re going to notice in LL wait times! Only time will tell, so I hope people will start reporting back with their premier pass experience over the next week since crowds will be picking up soon!

Presumably, the vast, vast majority who buy LLPP would have bought LLMP. Nearly every single LLPP they sell is instead of a LLMP. The main difference is that each LLPP peep will be using a larger number of LLs than an LLMP peep, especially more in-demand rides and especially on busy days.

Just so strange to have sell outs for 12/21, 12/27 and 12/28 .....but not 12/25
I agree based on our 1 previous experience, Thanksgiving week progressed in a logical way. So far these sell out days have not followed any expected pattern other then selling out at first at MK.

It kind of make sense to me— when we are in Orlando for the holidays, we want to spend at least half the day doing Christmas specific things. Sure, some people may decide they want to take a “hit it and quit it” approach to the parks so they have half a day free, but I bet a lot of people going on Christmas Day primarily care about atmospherics or only plan to be there for a ride or two. If we were there, we would do a couple presents, try to hit three LLs, return to villa for presents and festivities, while lining up another 3 rides later in the day. LLMP would work much better than PP most days for us, but especially on holidays.

I am a little surprised that 12/26 and 12/23, and 12/24 haven’t sold out. Will be interesting to see if LLMP sells out, if it’s harder to get LLMP returns, or if LL are longer next week.

Well, now MK is sold out 12/28-12/30, and HS for 12/28 and 12/29. It made me too nervous for my dates -12/30 for HS and 12/31 for Epcot.

I was able to book All-Star for 12/28, and book my passes now, instead of waiting. Since we are on a red eye from Seattle and land at 6 am for our trip, it will be very nice to have a room, take a nap, etc, instead of waiting until 4 pm for our BLT stay (I had been looking for something on points with DVC, but didn’t think about a cash booking until this am).

May I ask what the price is for LLPP for Christmas week per person?

TIA,

Dee
