I read reports it was great last year.

We’ve done Halloween week a few times because it’s such a great mix of good weather and good crowds.

This year 2024 we picked the week before Thanksgiving because the person joining us couldn’t go sooner and wow! What a great week it turned out to be. Next year Thanksgiving is also kind of late. I’d love to try a repeat. Mon-Thurs were CL 1-3 across all 4 parks.

It really is somewhat random which park Guests will pick on a particular day of the week. Did you happen to hit AK first thing Monday? Many guests treat it as a 1/2 day park and will hit it on their last partial day before heading out.

No, we actually started 12/2 in Fort Lauderdale and didn’t get to Disney until about 2:30PM? Per my photo time stamps we got on the Safari first around 3:10PM (line was about 60m standby?), and then did Everest about 3:45– I was planning on letting the kids do it a few times but standby was about 40m at 4pm.

Epcot was bad when we arrived around 5, but GOTG had been down much of the day and I’m sure that added pressure on lines around future world.

I just noticed that Sunday, Dec 22 is sold out at MK. That is too bad for folks that were hoping to buy it tomorrow @ 7 days out.

So I can’t buy until Dec 22nd for Dec. 30, 31… looking to buy DHS and Epcot… what are the odds it’s still available then? I know… no crystal ball, no real history with this, etc… just trying to think if I need to sort all my back up plans.

Being honest I would anticipate DHS to be sold out. Hopefully Epcot may be available but if it’s on Dec 31st that narrows the chances. I would anticipate both may be sold out prior to your booking date.

Only a guess though and hoping I’m wrong!!

you should be able to follow the trend this week to get a good idea

If you have flexibility, make Hollywood studios the later date than Epcot since that seems to be the second most likely to sell out after MK

Epcot is a possible on Dec. 30th but HS is real iffy since it tends to sell out right after MK.

I booked mine and the kids for the 23rd for MK but still need to book my mom who is arriving a day later and can’t be booked until tomorrow. Just hoping beyond hope they last at least until tomorrow.

Still available as of 8:15am .....yesterday, I think the sell out happened between 9-10am

Yes, got them! I was up at 5:55 my time and had it all set up just had to tap MK and her name when it flipped to 6. I had an unusually easy time booking the ADRs I wanted for this trip too so now everything is all set! Just need the airlines to behave

It was sold out at 7 AM this morning in MDE and showed the same in Thrill Data. Either they added capacity, someone go their LLPP refunded, or just Disney Magic....

I haven't been paying attention, but did hours change as well? It's possible more LLPP capacity was added if hours were extended... (just a thought)

Good guess but since the initial hours were released for MK on Sunday, December 22 did change from 9 PM to 10 PM. Not enough of a change to add LLPP capacity based on 1 additional hour.

Maybe… they did add hours for Dec 29-Jan 4 (that’s all I’ve been tracking) and announced that 3 days ago. I just checked again to make sure I was looking right at Dec 22. - but yes, back to available.

What I worry about is that they oversell to maximize revenue, and the lightning lanes become less valuable.
