Live Trip Report from AKV (with pics)

Upon aproaching the Pool area we were blinded by bright flashing lights that blinded us due to the night vision googles. We were then attacked by a large mouse, dog, pig, orange bear and various freaky looking creatures. They actually drove us off yelling "What would you celebrate?"

Ok I am an idiot... who is the pig???

Mouse = Mickey
Orange Bear = Pooh
Dog= Pluto

DUH.... I kept going through the pooh charcters and I knew I was missing one!

I think I have PIG block since we just bought into the Piggie building!

Just found this tonight and am HOOKEd (hoping for more). Thanks so much for taking the time to do this while on vacation. We can't wait for our first trip home to AKL in June/July and your pics were amazing. I was happy to hear that you thought it was like "WL but with animals". WL is our favorite resort having never stayed at AKL yet so that is great to hear! Can't believe your luck with crowd and pixie dust with FP's, HOW COOL! Can't wait to hear what you thought of Boma, we're going there for the first time, hoping for a good review. Thanks again!

Disney has ways of dealing with people in unathorized areas, I think someone is going to find her in 10 years in the pool deck concrete.

Seriously, This being the last weerk of construction, the place has to be swarming with Disney folks putting in last minute touches everywhere. Knowing Disney's obsession with security and safety, I doubt she was able to get very close to her object.

if kids get nailed to the floor of the small world ride..I guess adults sneaking pics of restricted area wind up as one of the dancing ghosts at the mansion?

No kidding! Just saying the pool is fabulous does nothing for us all here!

But my bet is that if this person was really on an 8 hour tour (I'm sure there's a Gilligan's Isle joke waiting to come out), and they were not allowed pics, I can't imagine that BuckeyeGal was able to take any either. But HOPEFULLY she can be more descriptive on whatever it was she got a glimpse of - if she was able to make it over there.

BG - Hope you had a pleasant flight home yesterday - but PLEASE get back here and tell us all what you did or didn't see at Kidani!

Yes...be careful of the security riding those little golf carts ! They nabbed me for criminal activity (of the photography nature) at KV in Feb ! They take their jobs very seriously.....

Well folks, i have been working the connections and have not been able to find out anything about Buckeye. Last night I called an old friend of mine that used to be a Communications Specialist in the Marines. She now has her on Private Investigater buisness in Broward County. When i called the offices of Cindy Rella PI's she took the call immediatly when she heard it was me (what connections). Back in the day she used to call me her Prince. I explained the situation and she agreed to help. But with her being short of help she could only spare seven guys to investigate. She thought she might be able to get her best guy, somebody named Buzz, to help also. She said his techniques were lightyears ahead of other people. She just sent me an e-mail saying that they had already turned up 101 tips but they were spotty at best. She promised to call me later today. I'll keep you all informed.

Aren't YOU wondering about some other woman calling him "her Prince" back in the day? I was chuckling until I read that...wait a minute...isn't he married to pjstevens? who is this woman that is calling him "her Prince" if it's not pjstevens?

But aside from that... and hoping that Buckeye Fan and her family are healthy, had a marvelous time and are home safe and sound.
