It looks like its time for us to return to the Wilderness Lodge! Thanks for posting the great pictures.

Monday night update -

Wow, the crowds were at MK tonight. This was one of the larger crowds I've seen at MK. Wall to wall people. We only did a couple of rides - Pirates, Buzz Lightyear, People Mover and Carousal of Progress. Had dinner at Columbia House (BLT Salad for me and Clam Chowder for DW), followed up by some ice cream (great sugar free Butter Pecan). We saw ELP, which was great to see again but left before Wishes. Our feets were just a little too sore to stay any longer.

Tomorrow's plan - Animal Kingdom in the morning/afternoon and then dinner at Cape May (my official birthday dinner) followed by Epcot in the evening.

Tks so much for the pictures. I have just made a decision for next Oct, VWL for us!

Thank you for the lovely photos of the VWL :)

We've been home a week but didn't stay at our home resort. Just makes me miss it even more.

Keep having fun.

I can't thank you enough for these wonderful pictures. We will be at VWL in just a little over 3 weeks and we are so excited it can't come soon enough. Thanks for warming everything up for us! :thumbsup2

:bday:

Thanks for the photos, they are great! We are arriving this weekend and can't wait to see all the fall decorations. We've never been to WDW in October. And the VWL...we only stayed there 2 nights once, way back when it was pretty new. Definitely have to visit there again!

Thanks for the photos, I am rather green with envy! We hope to make some fall trips in the future.

BTW if you have the ability to size your photos I have found the 4x6 at 100 DPI works very well. It makes the photos plenty big with stretching the page when the photos are horizontal so that text doesn't go wider than the screen.

Happy Birthday. Thanks so much for the photos and sharing your trip with us. Sounds like you are having a great time. Can't wait, we will be there in a few weeks and your reviews of the F&WF are great. Thanks again! Looking forward to hearing more.

Thanks so much for posting the pictures. It is much needed today. Glad you are having a great trip.

Great pictures, can't believe they are from a phone. Have a great day and a very Happy Birthday.

Hope you have a wonderful birthday in the "World" Wolfpack Fan!!

Thanks again for taking time from your vacation to post these pics and your trip updates. They are much appreciated by those of us sitting at home and wishing we were there.:thumbsup2

Your pictures are beautiful!!! And darn it, now I'm thinking we need to return to WDW sooner than our annual summer trip.

Tuesday afternoon update -

Before proceeding with the update, I have to say one thing. The bus transportation so far has been pretty poor from WL. Yesterday it seemed to take a long time to get a bus to Epcot and this morning we had to wait 30 minutes for a bus to Animal Kingdom. In the meantime, we saw four buses come for Epcot (two right next to each other). I don't know what it is about this bus system. You would have thought by now they would have it fixed. But folks are still having to wait long times for busses. Okay, enough about the busses. We know this is a long standing problem and I guess we just have to put up with it.

We got to AK around 9:30. Went and got FP's for a Safari and then did the Panganini Jungle walk. Saw lots of gorillas including the new 3 month old baby gorilla. Really neat. After our walk, we did the Safari. Once again we saw lots of animals including the baby giraffe and baby elephant. The giraffes came right up to our truck. I've never seen them that close.

We then did the Maharaja Jungle Trek and saw the tigers. After watching the monkeys a little bit, we stopped for lunch at the CS part of Yak and Yeti. DW and I shared the Honey Seared Chicken and some egg rolls. Food was okay, but nothing to get excited about.

We then decided to leave AK and head over to HS. Took the bus over and then DW went to Beauty and the Beast and I did TOT. There were no crowds at all. TOT was a straight walk on. You could have riden it over and over all you wanted without waiting. After TOT, we did Great Movie Ride. Once again it was a walk on. Not sure where the crowds were today, but they weren't at AK or HS. Weather today was absolutely terrific.

Plan for rest of day is to rest our feet and then we're going to drive over to Beach Club for our dinner at Cape May. We then plan to go back to Epcot for Illuminations.

Here are a few pictures from AK and HS -

:bday:

Thanks so much for the report. Dh and I will be at WL in Jan while I attend a conference. We are so looking forward to it, and these pictures are getting us even more excited. Have a great b-day dinner.

Thanks for all the nice photos. If you're not opposed to food pics, could you grap a few at Cape May? We'll be dining there this month and have never been. Thanks!
