Hello all just wanted to check into the boards after our first day.

No issues with the flight on the way down and even ran into an old friend at the airport in Cincinnati.

Limo driver was waiting for us in baggage claim and I dont think we waited more than 10 minutes for the bags (goodbye DME) We were at the resort at 2:05 with a 1:30 arrival.

We were greeted outside by a cast member who I explained that I did on line check in we had our keys in under 5 minutes and our room was ready! WOW

The room is nothing to speak of its a studio in the middle of the villas not much of a view since we are on the 2nd floor in a handicap accessible room. no real vanity in the bathroom and 1 very small nightstand so not a great deal of room for our things.

You would really think that they would want to impress me if I am not a member, oh well probably the last time I stay in villas.

MK was packed and we were able to do most of the tomorrow land rides that we wanted as well as Haunted Mansion then off to O'hana for 7:50 reservations, after a few cocktails at the pool bar and DS some game room time we went to check in a half hour early. within 5 minutes the pager went off and we were seated WOW! It went downhill from here the service was less than POOR and I thought the food was just ok even though there was allot of it. I was really hoping this would be my dinning highlight but I will have to wait.

Off to HS for EMH this morning and I will try and check in tonight!

Can't believe how quickly you got from the airport to your hotel and room. Sounds like the limo was a big plus

I'm sad to hear Ohanas' wasn't as good as everyone says. We are still going to keep our ADR because after so many years of traveling to Disney I can't believe we have never tried it. I'll be sure to post after our meal and let you know.

Have fun at HS today ToT and RnRc are 2 of our favorites

I just finished checking in with Southwest and we got A 19 and A 20

Looking forward to your next live post can't believe this time tomorrow we'll be on ME going to our resort

first ride ToT and what a way to wake up! did most of the things at HS that we wanted to but Indiana Jones so we will be going back.
Sci-Fi was good for lunch GREAT dbl cheesburger and onion rings, service was good and DS loved the atmosphere.
MK in the afternoon and knocked out more rides but with the rain it was hard to get onto some of them with the crowds.
Dinner time at Tony's even though with the bad reviews. The service was very good never had to ask for refills or more bread, as far as the food it was pretty much like most of the reviews nothing special. I had the chicken parm and it was good DS had a seafood pasta that he ate most of but to;d me it was nothing like Tutto in Epcot. Bottom line I could have gone to Olive Garden and spent about the same money but I would have not been at the MK and the service would not have been as good. Im not sure if I would go back but there is no reason not to try it I really loved the atmosphere!

Not sure about day 3 since the weather is not looking very good and he is still sleeping as I sleep LOL

It's a queen my DS 16 yo 6'3 250 is comfy on it
