Not to put any pressure on you, but after reading about your adventures at both the Poly & AKL this year, I'm wondering how you felt about the two in comparison.
Have been hearing grumblings that the Poly CL is slipping a few notches... I truly hope that's not true across the board. Some of your pics and comments about the "slim" food offerings lead me to think otherwise, tho.
I read somewhere else that the CL staff are even cutting off the food up to an hour or more before the scheduled cut-off - pretty much indicating "that's all there is; take it or leave it". I'd certainly understand if they ran out of food due to an unanticipated increased demand on occasion - but I'm getting the sense that that may not be the case. Did you find that to be an accurate representation? Can you offer us your take on the situation?
Seems you really enjoyed AKL.

Well the service from the downstairs staff is definitely top notch, but the upstairs staff was a tad unfriendly and I found very unhelpful. The food offerings were very slim compared with what we have had at AKL but the food is of a slightly better quality there - such as better cheeses, breads, and hot appetizers.
They were cutting the food off an hour before time, but then again they are doing that at AKL too, and did it over NYE at BWI. However, if there is something you want, you can ask for a little "more of" and they will probably get it for you.
