Wow! I've never seen so many people in this park in Madeira before. Everyone here is waiting for the Flower Festival parade which will be starting soon and Mickey & Minnie are expected to join this years parade!!!!

*** Sorry everyone I found out later today after my Mom spoke to my aunt who lives in Madeira that Mickey & Minnie were not in the parade as originally expected. Instead they visited 60 children in what I believe is an orphanage in Madeira. I have attached a picture and a link I found however it's not in English. It says each child received a a gift from the characters. Unfortunately it will be sad as we were due to cruis in the Med in the summer but have had to cancel the trip!!!

I would love to see your pictures! Oh, that's too bad that you had to cancel your summer cruise. What a bummer. I hope you'll be able to reschedule. We had a wonderful time there in Gibraltar when we stopped there in 2007 on the WBTA.

ON the ship it's US and off the ship...local currency - except in the carribean... where they will also take US...

In a nutshell...

Food is good (still miss the peanut butter pie from Animators)

Entertainment on a whole is not good. The main stage performers are great I just wish that we could see more of them!

The new show...The Dream Goes On was WONDERFUL and I really hope that DCL incorporated it into its regular shows.

We were very disappointed with Villians. I tried to go into it with an open mind but it was just a bad show. There was no point to it. The story line did not flow, the jokes were for 2nd graders and the some of the scenes were just really hard to sit through. Again, the cast itself is wonderful, the show is just awful!

We were chosen as "family of the cruise" so we have had goodies dropped off at our room each day.

I won a Don Ducky Williams drawing from his presentation.

DD got a picture from Brooke White that she drew on stage. She got it during the performance from her and Justin Guarini. There is more of a description about that in my blog but here is a pic...

Castaway was great! The days at sea were amazing!

DD had a scare in Madeira after falling backwards down a steep staircase but luckily she is ok!

Today we are in Cadiz and I am enjoying FREE unlimited wifi at the library which is just a few feet from where the ship docks!

TA merchandise is not half as nice as it was last time around. The med stuff is great though. They just put it all out yesterday. We will be buying mostly med merchandise this time around.

Also, love the new purses that came out on our cruise. I got the large one and the wristlet.

Ok time to head back to the ship for more fun on the Disney Magic!!!
