By the way, if anyone could find a YouTube video of the fireworks in Barcelona, could you post it either here or in a new thread? They were just great and I'm hoping someone recorded it and will post it on YouTube.
Thanks!
We just got off today & taped it so will see if we can figure out how to doa youtube post tonight. BTW Highly recommend the Hotel Continental Barcelona - crazy & fun place!!

Wow, that's interesting since Global Wireless' coverage map indicates there is no service past the east coast of the U.S. or before the west coast of Europe.

Same as all other cruises when booked online
Global means land, cellular at sea covers the oceans.
We are wondering because the 3/4 cruises get a lower OBC then the 7+ day cruises. So is the 2 day the same as the 3/4 or a lower OBC?
No, global means global. Yes, I realize carrier's have various plans, but the word global is what it is. If a carrier uses the word global for a plan, but does not provide global coverage, it's not really global coverage.
My mistake ... I was thinking of the 10% discount. As for SBC, I was told it was $100. I also understood the cost for the 2-day was only $99 pp, if you were on the last Mexican Riviera cruise. If so, perhaps it is for a CAT 11, as I met others on the April EB T/A cruise who were quoted $400 pp (not sure what category).
For this 2 night cruise - Cat 11C Tier one Cruise ONLY was $80, Car 11B was $90. I paid $459.00 for 2 in a cat 11B. It has since gone up $40.00. And most, if not all Cat 11s are sold out. Getting a cabin on the 2 night is going to cost more now. I would love to reshop it for more OBC, but it's not worth losing my specific cabin. I don't understand the 99 per person?
I am not sure ... it was something I heard from someone while on the April 2010 14 day EB T/A cruise. I may have misunderstood, or they may have mad a mistake in what they said (or thought). Are you on the last Mexican Riviera as well? Did you book both cruises at the same time?
I am in a Malta internet cafe: Ziffa Internet Center. I've got 30 minutes for 2.40 euros (that would be $22.50 onboard at the per-minute rate - and you'd never get 30 minutes of fast internet). They even have Skype. It is on
Triq Id-Dejqa (Strait Street) just off South Street (it is on a little side street), not far from the Upper Barrakka gardens or the bus terminus.
There are McD's, Pizza Hut, etc (no photos can be taken in McD's!) and the whole thing seems very easy to navigate without a tour. We did the Valetta Historical Hunt; the DISboard team of Becx N Gav, Walter, intern Max and auntlynne won.
