k, maybe i'm on the wrong forum since I'm not actually a cruiser but going as a CM..... but i hope you will all forgive me for crashing the party... but I'm addicted. It's making me so excited reading all the messages!! 1 month, 2 days and I leave for my first cruise experience.
I know I won't get to indulge in the joys of all the incredible food you are temtping with but it's really nice to know what the guest experience is like. Great insight to have, I think.
Keep it up, everyone. You all seem like such an incredible bunch and have made the prospect of my new life aboard seem so much less ominous!
I look forward to seeing you next year!
btw, I think I'll be on the Wonder starting Jan. 25th... I wanted the Magic so I'll switch if I can but it looks like it's set.... either way, I'll hope to transfer to the Magic for another contract at the end of the summer! I'm with the 10-12 year old group to start but will work on a transfer to teens i think once I'm there.
(I'll certainly try to make the 10-12 year group appeal even to the veteran 11 and 12 year olds !)

Hey Fellow vicarious cruisers...
Well Deck party nite was a big hit....then on to the new sports bar for Karaoke..
One piece of advice.... closing the bar is not smart if you have a 7am excursion! YIKES
I was SERIOUSLY annoyed this morning. We had to tender in on St. Thomas, not enough berthing space. They told us to be in the Buena Vista Theater at 7 am for our trip to Trunk Bay... we sat there untill 20 after 8!!!! The CM that was in charge gave out a TON of information that was completely wrong. He said we would tender to the town then take the boat for our excursion, that wasn't true the boat came to the ship and we left from there. Brent over in excursions had already told me that so it wasn't like they didn't know. He said it's all travel and you get an hour at the beach, it was more like 2.5, Brent had told me that too. The guy kept trying to do comedy at 7am and not only was he not funny, quite frankly he was very rude and insulting to some of the guests. There was a couple going on the "Eco" hike, they were the only ones going and he made serveral jokes at their expense.
Ok rant over.....
OMG TRUNK BAY IS GORGEOUS..... GO THERE!!!
National Geographic recently rated it the second most beautiful beach in the world ane you will get no argument from me!! The snorkeling is clear and you can go right out to the coral reefs.
I hope to have a bunch of pictures later!!! I think I will wait for the pics to describe it much.. it's too much for words...
So getting ready for the 430 sailaway party, we are heading for a day at Sea and Castaway Cay!!!!

Wow! Surprised that The Magic had to tender again so soon. We did on the 11/15 but then we knew about it ahead of time. That really put a bite into anyone planning on doing excursions on their own. Hope Anne found the shops that I had told her about for what she was looking for.

WOW! Unreal! I heard of heaven but never saw it.
Trying to talk Del into a cruise now, he's not budging.
"There's no rides on the ship, I like the rides!"
Del had never been to an amusement park until we went to Disney. He has gone to Disney twice and Six flags once, so he's not over the thrill of that yet.
Maybe soon!
I'm my comedic opinion, (I've been told I am a hoot) jokes made at someone elces expence are NEVER funny. I would have loved to been there with my crew when he did that.
We could have shown him what 'Hecklers' look like.

I have a ton of pics but can't post them from the ship!! I'll get to them I promise!!
A nice day at sea today.. slept till 1030.. they had an excellent seafood buffet for lunch at topsiders...
Basically just relaxed all afternoon, wandered around taking pictures.. nothing exciting...
Dinner was semi-formal nite at Parrot Cay
We then played "So you think you know your music". Since DD was with us we had all 3 of the musketeers, we are going to stop by the infirmary on friday to see if they can be seperated!
One of them, Emily turned out to be a Disney Musical Prodigy!! Dang she was good, we came in second place losing out because of a bonus question.
I have a ton of pics but can't post them from the ship!! I'll get to them I promise!!
