Hi! First time posting here! Our good friends are on the 2/14 Magic right now. We had a wonderful first cruise on the 11/23 Wonder. We raved about it so much we convinced our friends to go on the 7 night cruise. I hope they have as much fun as we did. I'm very bummed to hear about the rain. The sail away party was one of the best aspects of the cruise. Everything was a surprise for us. We really loved the horns blowing "When You Wish Upon A Star." I hope you continue to post throughout your cruise so that I can hear how the weather etc. is for our friends. Have a Blast!

Welcome and Congrats on your first post, don't let it be your last!!! After returning from our cruise last August I downloaded the horn tunes of "When You Wish Upon a Star" to sound when I have incoming e-mail. Everytime I hear it, and that's a lot, I think back to our MAGICal week!!!

The variety show was almost the same as it's always been. This being our 5th cruise, I think it is about time for a little change for us Castaway Club members. Chucky is cute, but after 5 times, it does get old. I'm really looking forward to the Golden Mickeys.

BobandLee, I have to be the very worst person with names, I hate to admit it, but I don't remember our servers names. They actually aren't the best servers we ever have had, not much personality at all. (can you believe we got the excellent speech already on the first night???) I will make a note of the Captains name (as well as our servers) The cruise director is even different this time.

The new Cove Cafe looks nice, however when I walked by there tonight, the place was completely empty. I would have felt quite uncomfortable going in to use the computers. So....I'm just relaxing with the piano player in the promenade.

Ursula!!!! Don't be shy. Lynn (Dmomof3) and I were looking for you last night in the Hyatt. JeffreyY and family are our next door neighbors, and we've met with several other Dis'ers. Unfortunately our planned meet today for the sailaway was "rained" out and we did not make alternate plans. Tip for all planning a sailaway meet, have an alternate plan in place.

Thanks for all the prayers for sun everyone! Even if it rains, I will have a "Magical" time. I mean how can I not!

Do they still have the magic show where they saw the lady in half and her legs get up and walk away. We saw that last April and my dd freaked out, but wanted to see it again. The things Disney comes up with!! I thought it was freaky but cool!

Hi all!

Rae, you would not believe how relaxed I am! Frying myself in the sun days are long gone. I can hardly wait to meet up with Nicki and go horseback riding. I promise to report back.

We are almost at Key West, made up the lost time from the late start yesterday overnight. The rain just stopped, the crew is busy wiping down all the tables and railings. They are even sucking up the water on the decks. However gray skies are looming as far as you can see. It is warm and humid. Much better than all that **** snow back home in Connecticut!

The girls are not at all happy with the new Stack. They much prefer the common grounds. They miss the nice comfy sofas, they say all they have is hard plastic chairs to sit in. I came back to my stateroom around midnight last night to find about 10 teens in my room, and the remains of their room service order out in the hall. I guess they much preferred relaxing all over the beds to the hard plastic chairs. LOL

I am off to my bridge tour, and then shopping till I drop on Key West.

Sorry to hear about the rain. We just got off the ship on the 14th and the Eastern was GREAT!!! When we got back and saw the fog we felt bad as we had LOTS off sun and hardly any rain. Hope the weather turns out like ours did. Have a GREAT trip!!

Oh Robin, I'm so happy for you!!! After so much bad weather this winter, everyone deserves their "magic" - glad you found yours.
I only wish I could conspire with a CM to wait until you are soaking in the hot tub and start sprinkling fake snow on you and singing, "Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!"

Enjoy Nicki and her horses - make sure you bring your camera. Nicki will take your pictures and she does a fantastic job taking them!

The Captain onboard this past week week was Captain Tom. He is OK, but I feel he does not have the same personal touch with guests that other captains do.

Rachael is the cruise director currently onboard and she was great....better than last time we had her.

The show one diser was asking about is no longer playing.....I think it was Morty the Magnificent or something. They replaced it with the Golden Mickeys...which is fantastic.


moocow.....DON'T MISS BRITISH PUB NIGHT ON FRIDAY...IT WAS LATE BUT WORTH IT ....VERY FUNNY SKITS PUT ON BY THE CRUISE STAFF! (I was not shouting but I wanted to draw attention to this because it is really an enjoyable evening)
