O.K., on a serious side.......someone else had "bites" on their legs? Me and Alli had them from our knees down.....like a bunch of flee bites.......small mosquito bites... :confused3

I didn't know you had them too.I had them bad also. They were from my knees downs as well. One of the 5J girls had them as well as I let her use my hydrocortisone cream in Costa Maya .I was fine at the beach, but when I went on the bike path I got eaten up.I told Charlie next time we go to the private island I am spraying myself before we step off the boat.We must have some sweet blood as they liked us all :rotfl2: I was still scratching on Monday. Finally,a week later the bite marks are still there, but the itching has stopped.

yes -- HORRIBLE! They have finally stopped itching but they were really bad. I was on Benadryl for a few days.

Maybe we should post in the 12/03 Western sailing thread to see if they can find some "drunkin'" bugs on one of the islands......that way we will know which ones bit me! :rotfl2:

Kelli and both my daughters got some pretty itchy bites. They were scrathing like crazy. Seems better now.
For some reason they did not bother with me. I guess staying in the hammock sleeping all day paid off.

I was not even looking at this girl at Costa Maya by the beach for an hour.

Rob was speechless when he saw that picture! :rotfl2:

Well HI everyone. !!!

I guess you are wondering what happened to Kennyk :confused3

25 pagers and he hasn't posted once. Well I'm only up to page 18 so far. Between my regular 8-4 job the hours at the DIS store have been unbelieveable.

Everyday schedule to end work at 11 pm but don't get home until after MID Night. The other night we did a major move, (Change the store around, move items from back up front and vice versa) I was even schedule to work, Got called in at 5:pm to help, anyway didn't get home until 1 AM. OUCH.

With everything going on here, getting paper work together for our temp Florida house purchase and all, I haven't had time to even look at my camera. Maybe this weekend.

I'm sure my daughter Cindy-K will post some of her pix's also.

Bhawk, it was great being with you on the fishing trip. That was some shark that they brought in. All those hook, bait and lines in that sharks mouth I bet.

How about that fish that kinda got eaten on it's way up to the boat. And of course seeing the Magic and Wonder from out at sea. That was a treat.

I definitely would not do any of those water sports after that trip.

We are going on a short Wonder Cruise in March and definitely will redo that fishing trip.

I noticed that other DIS'ers had missing people at their dinner table. We were supposed to have KIM and his DD at our table ofcourse they should be at RON's table unless he did it that way. Anyway, even though it was lonely, Our DIS neighbors around us were awesome. It was great to make such great friends. It really adds so much to the cruise.

That last nights photo on the stairs was terrific. We had it framed along with a picture of the magic.

You Guy's and Gals were the awesome  and thanks for the great week.

NOW BACK TO WORK :moped: and will read more tonight.

KennyK and Family.

Looks like we had bigger "dandruff"! :rotfl2:

Great photo, Lampy!

You do have a lot more snow. Probably because you are Lampy. You sure got the royal treatment on this cruise, including when you got paged Saturday morning to eat breakfast with Captain Tom (that is why you got paged, isn't it?) Meanwhile, here I am Michael Eisner's nephew and all we get is a few lousy flakes. :rotfl2:

Dubbya- You are a naughty boy. ;) Once again, however, it was not your fault. Bad Doogie, corrupting you by sending you that photo. Let's see, I believe Doggie's defense to his DW will be that he cannot fight millions of years of evolution, he just had to look. And, the photo was an accident, he had no idea that that lady was in the shot he was trying to take of the beach. :rotfl: I need for Mrs. TCD to hang around with Mrs. Dubbya and Mrs. Doogie, I will look like Husband of the year!

Hello Ken! You have got to at least post your shark photo! That was a biggun!

OK, 11/19 fans, as you know, our Western cruise was supposed to stop at Cozumel. Shortly before our cruise, Hurricane Wilma severely damaged Cozumel, so our Mexico port was changed to Costa Maya. Then, the week before our cruise, TS Gamma began to form in the Western Caribbean, and it really looked like we would be switched over to an Eastern itenerary. Because of these developments, the TCD family did not plan an excursion for Costa Maya. There was a group of Dis'ers who booked a day at Tequila Beach, and we tentatively planned to take a cab out there if the weather was nice.

Well, once we found the taxi stand, we found a long line of folks waiting for taxis, and decided against taking our chances travelling away from the main port area. So, that left us with just exploring the small shopping area at the docks.

Here are some of the sights we got to see:

Real (I think) Mayan ruins with a Mexican dude wearing a dead animal on his head:

A native Mexican man with his trusty Donkey (ala Juan Valdez):

And, a nice statue which payed tribute to an industry important to the local economy:

We ended up loving Costa Maya!

TCD -

Not very adventurous are you? I see you didn't dare venture much past that large pink building. But, anyway -- there were plenty of sights to see there, no need to walk too far.

TCD,

You did an excellent job of keeping Mrs TCD away from the other wives on the cruise.

Dubbya- Y'all should thank me for that. Your DW's would all be so jealous after listening to Mrs. TCD tell them how lucky she is to be married to me. ;)

For Lampys pic, I am pretty sure the photographer was his DD's friend, Morgan.

As far as I could tell, yes. I think if you stood, you would block the snow people, and the "snow" would be flying right into your face.

You can also take your own photos, so you could probably pose however you wanted to for that.

Kris, as you now know from being on the Magic with me for the week, I am not adventurous at all. Anyway, I think I got plenty of the Mayan culture right there in port. Who needs to see real ruins when they had a nice fake Mayan pyramid right there for you to see. Kind of like the World Showcase at EPCOT. I don't need to take my kids to Europe or Asia they can see it all in a day at EPCOT! ;)

I just wanted you all to know that I am really enjoying your make-shift trip report. The banter between you all is great! Makes for a very descriptive retelling of your adventures!
