My first thought was that the Lamparskis had moved to Texas. Lots of cowboy hats around here. Then I realized that it was a costume party.

Second thought was that at least he dressed up as a man this time. Well, sorta. Not that there is anything wrong with that, mind you.

@ Willie.....hey Willie what's the temp like in your neck of the woods at the end of March? Alli is going to Gattlinburg with her friend and Jess is going to Cancun.....I can only escape Friday and Sat. from work(Sun. and Monday morning) Myself and Mama were either going to take the vette on a long ride (somewhere warm) or head to Tennesse with the boat.....believe it or not.....I've never been to Texas.......

The end of March temps here are hit and miss. We have some days that the weather is beautiful with low humidity. But if a late front comes thru.....

The welcome mat is always out here in East Texas. And you already have the hat.

Better yet, all of us Texans could meet up somewhere! Bring Anna Nicole with you. Her family still lives in Texas (though I'm sure there are other people you'd rather see! )

One more thing, Corona is very popular here (to chase down after consuming a platter of tex-mex nachos with loads of jalapenos!)

BTW, did anyone receive their 'castawaygram' in the mail? It's dropping 'hints' (if that's what you want to call it) about DCL's new 2007 itinerary. 'Seeing other oceans which we haven't sailed before.'

Yes, DD Hayley got a "Castawaygram" like you mentioned. It does hint about the Med cruises.

I have been absent from here because we are in the process of moving here at work. So things are hectic.

Willie-we seem to have similar weather to you. We could have 22 in the morning then 81 in the afternoon (or at least it feels that way).

Hey Pricilla! I'm game on that...even if I wasn't on your Turkey Cruise, but I was on the one in 2004. I've been watching the thread and wondering if anyone would chime back in or if it'd just drift away.... Hope everyone is having a magical day!

Maybe we should all try to post once or twice a week, (of course all of us on different schedules) that way we would keep it going. Maybe set a world record or something.

We're set to sail RCCL this coming Sunday from MIA. (Explorer of the Seas.) I can already feel the differences. When we were prepping for the Thanksgiving Magic, I was running tons of cruise-related errands, getting things organized, crossing off lists, etc. This week, I'm just drifting along, letting things pile up. Just can't get as excited. (I'll put on a happy face for Rob and Rachel, though. )

This is going to hurt the most. I checked the website (which lists which other ships are going to be in port the same day, and...(gasping, holding back the tears) the Magic is going to be in port the same day we're in Costa Maya! I hope I'm as far away as possible when the Disney horn sounds. (No, don't do this to me.) At least I won't have to watch their Sailaway party.

Yes, let's continue to post. We're still up for a possible Med Magic cruise. (Depending on price. Might have to redeem FF miles for transatlantic flight.)

I have this thread saved in my "favorites", so it is no problem for me to look in every now and then to see how you guys are doing.
I have been getting to know my new sailing buddies a little better, and I am trying to be a good sailor on the 10 Day Christmas thread.

I have no doubt that we will be sailing another Thanksgiving Magic cruise one day.

Come on guys!We can't let this thread die!Charlie and I will be popping in every once in a while.The Thanksgiving 2006 thread isn't anywhere like ours use to be.We miss you all.Charlie hasn't even made an appearance there.We can't forget those great memories on our cruise.2006 Thanksgiving cruise will be fun,but it won't compare to our 2005 Thanksgiving cruise.

Priscilla-Have a great time on RCCL.I look forward to hearing all about it after you get back.I keep telling Charlie we should just try it once,but he declines every time.We like the casino idea although we don't care that DCL doesn't have one.

Maria, isn't THAT the truth! We're booked for the eastern NEXT March 17th, and I don't even know if a thread has been started yet. Haven't checked. I'm having more fun over here.

I'm wondering since some of the gang is going on the eastern for the 10-day holiday this year, if most everyone will be ready for a western again Thanksgiving 2007.

Oh, and Charlie sounds like a very smart man to decline any other cruise than DCL. If I had my way, we'd do no one else but DCL. One of the good things I can say about cruising another line, it's better than no cruise at all.

I shouldn't sound so negative.
