Can some of you DIS'ers that are on the Magic now bring home some DCL postcards from your stateroom. We still have some DIS'ers that would like some postcards for their children and grandchildren. I've used up all the postcards I had, and I have request for more.

Thanks Karen,

If it would be easier for you, could you give your postcards to Rae, she is going to be picking some up for us as well. The postcards I sent out went to Florida first, and will be mailed out from there with a Florida postmark. Just trying to make it more realistic for those with older children that might question a New Jersey postmark.

the cofee place is great ,, it is called the cove cafe it is now our place on tghe ship ... MOCHA yes and alll the other fav. also alcoholic beverage........... very nice we got the refillable mug for 10.00 and refills r just 2.50 good deal for u cofee drinklers ,

Glad you are all having a great time. Can't wait to see the new MAGIC. My friend Jennifer is on this sailing, it would have been funny if she was at the DIS meet.

We sail on Sunday and can hardly wait.

Hi! This is not RellingTwin but Tulirose. She graciously lent me her user name and password so I may post on this thread because I didn't take my Dis Password with me.

Like Peter, I returned from the DIS Champagne Brunch earlier today and we had three large tables of DIS people. I had a very nice time and enjoyed the company.

It is amazing that even though the ship has just come out of DryDock all the work that is still being done on it. They are still painting outside areas. (I do realize that that is always and ongoing thing) They had the basketball deck half closed off to redo the decking. You can see the difference now that the entire thing is open. (DH and I shot some hoops this a.m.)

I am disappointed that one of the Adult pool jacuzzi's has been closed. Day at sea today and, of course, everything is crowded!

DH and I went for the weekly Rainforest ticket and enjoy our visits there very much.

VerandahMan - I didn't see any postcards in my room but I will look specifically for them.

What else? Umm, Food is very good. Gonna gain lots of weight before cruise is over.

Windy! We miss you. Thanks for sending us that young couple to sit with us for dinner (I temporarily forgot their names, I have a very bad memory). But they are so very nice and a pleasure to chat with. Goofynut presented Viking a crying towel last night at dinner for coming in fifth place at the Scavenger Hunt. DH and I didn't participate but we saw many of the yellowshirted people darting around town. All who participated that I spoke with said they had a blast doing same!

That's it for now. Don't wanna keep DH waiting too long. Will check in again later.

Oh and VerandahMan - Thanks so much for those pictures you posted of the Magic at port and twopalms and leaving Key West. You can't imagine the goosebumps I got when I saw them knowing that I was actually on that ship in the picture! Thanks again.

Forgot to mention that Dan asked if I could babysit Pinky tonight. I said yes only if he is already pottytrained! So, Pinky will join us for dinner tonight.

Thanks for the update. A couple of questions if I may.

Is the coffee refillable mug only useable in the new coffee bar and is that the only place where the coffees are available. I know that sounds like a stupid question but there is a logic to it! My DD is the coffee drinker in our house but is only 15 and so won't be allowed in the new coffee house. I was hoping that she might be able to get coffees in the new teen club. Otherwise, we will have to bring the coffee out to her on deck from the coffee house, if that's possible.

Also, is the refillable mug actually a mug or a sticker on your KTTW card?

No more questions from me, I promise! And we will try to answer queries from our cruise at Halloween if anyone wants to know anything by then.

I am so glad to hear about the Mocha's I can't live with out a Cafe Mocha in the mornings!

How does the railings look on the verandahs? On our cruise in May they were in great need of work (in our room).



Mjasp: Baby is due November 25th, still head up so if by the 29th of this month she doesn't turn I have a scheduled appointment on November 3rd for the doctor's to try and turn her.

Just one quick question: Who are you're servers. I know that two of my favorites are gone, but others still remain.

Not to get your hopes up, but my DF still stays in tough with the lighting crew from our 9/20 cruise on the MAGIC. She says that they were very busy during dry dock with rehersals for the new show...Golden Mickeys!!! I DO hope you get to see it!
