LIVE FROM THE 10/11 Cruise!!

So glad to hear about the coffee cafe. My DH favorite is the Italian coffee. Do they make one of those?

Verandah Man - beautiful picture of Magic pulling out of Key West with all the lights shining. We will be cruising next week I'll bring home aall the postcards I can find, but where shall I send them?

I just sent you an e-mail, where the postcards can be sent to.

Any word on Golden Mickeys? Can someone bring a 8-9 kids navigator home and scan it. I am curious if there are any changes.
Thanks

I would also really appreciate the navigators. I would be great if you are able to bring 10-12 and the daily navigators. I hope you are having a wonderful time on the ship. Enjoy every second!

Here is the last dining rotation that I have from Daisy651 on Webshots. Can someone who is cruising in October 03 confirm that this is the way it is now?

Sat Casual
Sun Casual
Mon Semi Formal
Tue Casual
Wed Tropical Wear
Thur Formal
Fri Casual

Thanks!

Thanks to all of you for the updates. We sail on 10/18/03!

Enjoy the rest of your cruise!

Paul

Yes, please let us know if the dining rotations have changed at all...those are the charts I created (on webshots) and I have not updated them in awhile. If things have changed...I will update with new info.

Thanks.

WOW, vm, great pic of Magic leaving KW! It was truly a sight to see for sore eyes!!!

Hey live cruisers...have a blast!!!!!!!!!:smooth:

Rosemary -

Do you mean to tell me that Rodney and Susan are sitting at your table? That is WAY too funny. Turns out I had linked my reservation with Eric so George and I could sit with all of you. In the meantime, my husband had linked our reservation with Rodney of which I found out afterwards. I can't believe DCL actually continued the link since we dropped out of the equation.

By the way, they just celebrated their first anniversary in case they hadn't told anyone yet.

By chance, has anyone run into Jean from France (server)? If so tell him Nancy and George said HI and to email me back soon. ( If he looks at you funny just say "I am John, I am from France, I am rude" )

Have a great time in Grand Cayman!!!

Nancy

Tulirose here again, not Mary.

Yes, Windy, Rodney and Susan are the nicest couple and they are at our table for dinner. Rodney has helped me in some of my dinner choices the first two nights when I found myself sitting next to them. Tonight they were at the other end of the table from us. It's nice to see them around ship. We pegged them for honeymooners originally but quickly found out they were celebrating their one year anniversary. Babies! Very nice couple.

FayRay - The dinner rotations you mentioned are correct except for the formal and semi-formal nights. Just switch them around. Tonight is Monday and it was the Captain's Gala so the more formal night.

As for the Golden Mickeys, we are not going to see them. I got my hopes up at the Radisson when two fellows were checking in just before us and had a bunch of equipment labeled "Golden Mickey" and "Magic" on it so I thought YES!!! But the answer is No. I don't know if they brought that stuff onboard for future shows or maybe they were going to go on the Wonder on Sunday but they are not doing the GM show on this cruise. :(

Today was really a great day. Beautiful weather. Wonderful people. Great shows! We are having a very wonderful time enjoying our fellow DIS people and also acting like newlyweds ourselves. ;)

Now, I go back to my hubby. Only problem is we promised Dan and Scott that we will babysit Pinky for them tonight and we received him at dinner this evening. I hope the little birdie doesn't keep us up all night long!

OH! Also, I finally got to meet Bernie that Bettemom kidnaped from New England. He was all decked out in formal attire and had his little Cruisetoberfest nametag on. He was going to off with some cast members to a party! He will have quite a lot to tell his parents upon his return home from his adventures!

Wishing all of you guys a wonderful cruise like ours. Night now.

Bbethparsons: My mom's best friend lives in Panama City:) She'll be in the area in less than a month

Any chance the GM might be onboard for the 11/15 Eastern cruise?

Michelle

If any of you guys on the Magic have a digital camera, see if you can take pictures of the new areas. I'd love to see what they look like.

Tulli - glad you're on the internet. That means you'll be able to get your Survivor fix while you're cruising

Tulirose here again. RellingTwin is having too much fun to come to the Internet Cafe! LOL!

Grand Cayman day today and Stingray City. What a wonderful experience. DH and I went with nonDisney excursion with Captain Brian. It had taken Capt. Marvin three days to respond to my email request for information regarding his excursion while Capt. Brian had answered immediately and the more I thought about Capt. Brian's catamaran, the more I wanted to do his trip, even though many DIS'ers were doing the other.

It was a wonderful experience, swimming with the Stingrays and holding them and then we went to the Aquarium for snorkeling. And I just loved, loved, loved the catamaran experience. There were a few things I didn't like, but we won't go there right now because the overall experience was just excellent and the negatives have nothing to do with Capt. Brian.

Came back and spent time in that Rainforest room and I am so mellow right now. Capt. Brian had to get a couple back to the pier immediately to catch the last transport to the ship Inspiration and drove the bus right to the dock. So since we were right here, we decided to reboard the Magic for lunch. Good thing we did. As we are eating lunch, a thunderstorm rolled in. Don't know how long it lasted because we headed to the rainforest and spent a nice long peaceful time in there. We had intended to go back to the island but that never happened. Oh well!

Gometros - Got to see last week's Survivor but will miss this week's Survivor. Guess that's the price I have to pay to enjoy a wonderful week on the Magic. Heck, I would miss Survivor every week to experience this just as often. :teeth:
