And one last renovation update:
The exterior work went into full swing on the wing between the main pool and the garden.
Lots of saws and other noise, much of it primed white when we left!
Noise was probably annoying for those with nearby rooms, but not to the rest of us except for a lot of truck traffic along the canal early in the morning.
There is also work going on to the side of the main entrance, along where luggage handling would normally be done. I saw new vertical steel posts as if there will be some kind of standalone roof structure there.
