Little to No Discount Blues! Who else didn't get a email?

No email, no postcard, and AP rates and general codes aren't out yet. We did manage to get AAA rate. Better than nothing, I suppose.

Anyone else care to sing the little "AAA" to No Discount "Blues" with us?

Maybe us unlucky ones will feel better if we lend each other a shoulder to cry on while we sit here and wait. We can also vent and rant about being "shunned" by the marketing group at Disney!

I feel your pain! I have the "only got the AAA discount" blues too! I just called to see if I had the discount sent to me and it was lost. Nope, not my day. The CM did however tell me that I should still keep checking my mail, as they were not done with this round of discounts. So lets all keep hoping. My Dec. trip would be so much sweeter with a discount.

Me too! I called & spoke w/ a CM a couple of days ago & then today just to make sure it didn't go to the junk mail at my work e-mail address (can't access it), but they said that there were no e-mail discounts that had been mailed to me! On a positive note, the CM's I spoke to were so nice & were really rooting for us to get discounts of some fashion!

At least I had the Disney Club discount for last October, now that's gone.


*edit* just remembered I do have the 7 for 5 deal. And an awesome rate at Universal's Royal Pacific Resort. So the class is half full!

Me neither... I even called last night to see if they had the offer for me but perhaps I never got the email... the CM was nice but exclaimed that I ALREADY had a discounted rate (5+2)... yes I say but I was hoping to save a few more $$ - no luck....
I've never gotten ANY special offers & have completed survey's at both Epcot & ones that I received by email, ordered planning videos, enter contests, order from DS.com & their ebay auctions... nothing - Maybe I'm TOO good of a customer??

I didn't get anything, but also not singing the blues, either. Disney is setting a new pattern of public discount releases that means those waiting just have to exercise their patience gene. I have a trip scheduled for Nov. and hoping for a code to apply, but if one doesn't come, we have enough set aside to pay for the reservation without it.

No harm, no foul... maybe next time.

no discount e-mail for me! Loved the soup nazi comment, that is soo funny! Thankfully we do have a shades of green overflow rate, but still hoping for an annual pass rate- well group hug for all ,and praying for some pixie dust coming our way!.....goof

Not only did I not get an email, I've never received an email or postcard!! Thank goodness for these boards, otherwise I'd never know about discounts!! Disney has my email address because I get other emails from them (nothing important). I just wish that someday I'd get an email.


But on the other hand, I am super excited! Look at my counter!!

For the past 4 years I have received emails and postcards (snail mail) offers that I couldn't use. Now this year I am waiting on pins and needles hoping, hoping, hoping....

Its driving me crazy!!!!!!

No e-mail here. I have gotten a few things in the past - one postcard for a value resort...which I wouldn't even consider. I got an email for AKL or WL but we couldn't go during that particular time frame.
