And two Mercedes at that...but they were used!!! I agree that doing something like that probably can't help an already strained marriage and he bought both of them without telling her, she found out when the first one was sitting in the garage. I certainly understand Amy's concern with two boys going off to college and two more on the way and Matt just seems to spend, spend, spend and at the beginning of the episode he was telling her he needed a new bulldozer even though the old one could be fixed for $500 or so.

She's always saying how they don't have the money for these things, they must make a pretty nice income from the show but regardless I can't help but think she's in the dark about the finances and that Matt wants it that way and if that's the case, that's not going to help things either...it's clear they're on opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to spending.

Does anyone else think that Zach's decline in performance at school may be partially due to his hearing problem?

I was thinking the same thing. If I remember correctly, he was a pretty good student a year or so ago. Not A's, but got decent grades.

Yes, thinking back Zach never seemed to struggle. I mean I don't think either Jeremy or Zach were A students but more like B/C students. Never failing at all. And now the whole ordeal with his hearing.....hmmm.....

Wow, you're right. It said "Little People, Big World Finale", not "Season Finale". I'll really miss them, but I think it's for the best for all of them. Especially after seeing what happened with Jon & Kate+ 8.

I hope they'll have a special every year or so, though.

Zach's speech in his class was painful to watch. I can't believe he was upset that he got a C. I thought the teacher was very generous. At least his own brother acknowledged that it was bad. Out of all four kids, I think Amy babies Zach more than any of the other kids. She seems to expect more out of Jake than she does of Zach and lets him get away with so much more.

Don't know, but we have to remember, they were done filming since Summer. This whole season was "jumping around". They didn't film anything about the pumpkin season. Taping ended this past summer after the Dude Ranch vacation.

I just hope it's not over yet, If it is the series finale that was very sudden. I really hate how they jump around it makes it hard to follow

Regarding season/series finale, TLC may jsut be covering their butt. W/ the obvious troubke between Amy and matt, it's possible that they may decide to split up and/or stop the series but no decision has been made yet. I bet TLC didn't want to say season finale and then thye split up and cancel the show and people get all mad at TLC like they did w/ J&K. This way, they could say(lie) "we weren't renewing the show anyway".

What a stressful epi with Zach not sure if he was going to graduate.
Amy has all these people coming to celebrate but yet she is just so overly concerned about Zach and the possibility he will not graduate. I felt so bad for them all. I would be in panic mode if I knew one of my kiddos was questionable about graduating high school. Why didn't they know about this fact months ago when they could have done something about it then?

I did not think the boys seemed the least bit interested in college at all. Zach = "how to you spell Oregon?" And I heard Amy say = "the boys @19yo need some type of college...what are they going to do, sleep all day." I looked up their birthdate and they will be 20yo in May 2010. So they were in high school school until they were 19yo. That is kinda scary knowing that Zach almost did not graduate and they both have little or no interest in college...even if it is Community College.

Yes, this has been the flipflopping season for sure.

Haven't watched this show in quite awhile and now the "finale" is coming already?

Have things become worse between Amy & Matt - to the point that divorce is a very "real" possibility?

The Roloffs will be back in April.

Looks like Zac and Jeremy toured Europe by themselves.

Amy made a comment--she didn't know how some of the shows were going to be filmed. Sometimes I think she focuses so much on Zac and Jeremy, and she forgets Molly has 3 years of school left and what grade is Jake in 7th?

Just one comment on graduation-it was really nice that parents got to say a few words on the Senior banquet nite, and then the kids got to say something on graduation day. But "wow" the boys really didn't have nothing nice to say about their dad. I don't know if TLC did a lot of editing to make it sound bad, but both Zac and Jeremy said there dad was never there for them-these comments were not made at graduation, but during a "sit down interview".

I was glad to see that they will be back but Amy was acting like the house would be empty. Aren't the boys going to the local community college and Molly and Jacob will still be at home so I hardly see it as an "empty" house. I really hope to see Amy and Matt work out some of their problems.

Never there for them, as always going on business trips or never there for them as not emotionally supportive? I haven't watched the show for a while, but I always thought the boys had a good relationship with Matt, so I am surprised they said whatever they said.
