list your top 5 favorite/least favorite restaurants

Limited to what we've tried but what stands out for me was Akershush and Kona for food quality and service. What was the WORST for food and service was 1900 PF dinner. EW YUCK BLAH and never again!

Best counter service for us was Wolfgang Puck Express, hands down! Worst would have to be the asian food at sunshine seasons...but the desserts there were awesomeeeeeeeeee yum.

Top Five
1. California Grille (loved the sushi, our entire party voted this the best restaurant)
2. Narcoossee (excellent lobster and wonderful atmosphere)
3. Le Cellier (I will say my food was a little salty for my taste, but it was still good and our server was excellent! It lived up to the hype.)
4. Donald's Safari Breakfast (great character interaction, excellent buffet -- best character breakfast (aside from LTT, see * below)
5. Sci-Fi (good burgers, onion rings, and milkshakes -- fun atmosphere -- a real favorite)

This one doesn't count because it's usually not available but...
*Liberty Tree Tavern (we were there earlier this year for a character breakfast while Crystal Palace was closed -- excellent food, great character interaction -- too bad it's not always opened for breakfast!)

I only have 4 I would put in the bottom, and none of these were horrible, just nothing all that special and I would probably even go to them again sometime
1. Garden Grill (we saw Mickey and Dale about 5 times which was nice, but our waitress said Chip often goes out back to smoke, so he was hard to find and that seemed weird to tell us about his smoking in front of children (what Chip smokes?), the food was okay, nothing great)
2. Chef Mickey's breakfast (not very good character interaction and the food was just okay)
3. Hollywood and Vine breakfast (character interaction was good but again, food was just okay)
4. 1900 Park Fare breakfast (characters were rushed, we had to sit in the part that seems to go out into the lobby, so it was very crowded and chaotic)

Top 5 (no particular order)
-Crystal Palce (breakfast/dinner is ok too!-great character interaction-love the breakfast food)
-Tuskar House (breakfast-great character interaction-food is ok too!)
-50's Prime Time Cafe--(good food and fun)
-Mama Melroses (has always been good)
-Tony's Town Square

Bottom

-ABC Comisary...poor food
-Hollywood and Vine (Buffet) poor food
-CRT-Breakfast--(good atmosphere lousy food..hoping dinner is better)

I miss Donald's Breakfastasoarous at AK in Dinoland..it had great foos and characters!!!!!!!

Worst (although we would try them all again)
Coral Reef (Been here twice now. Some of the food is okay and some just isn't. Very s l o w service.)
Flame Tree (Been here twice. Food is okay except the salad, which I think is rather bland.)
Sci-Fi (Food wasn't horrible, but wasn't good either. Service was great.)
Turf Club (Great service, but my hubby's steak tasted just like liver and had the texture of liver. If it was liver, than I guess it was fine other than the fact that he didn't order liver. But if it was steak, then that had to have been the most gross steak in the history of steaks.....and I mean tasted SO BAD with the strangest texture that you couldn't swallow it. Never tasted a steak like that before nor since in my life. It will always remain a Disney mystery for us....what WAS that mystery meat?!?! :goodvibes)

Top 5:

Le Cellier..... love the mushroom fillet!

Grand Floridian Cafe....this is a newer restaurant for us, we've eaten here on our last 2 trips & have loved our meals.

Libery Tree Tavern (lunch)...great variety

Yachtsman's Steakhouse.... like both the atmosphere & the food.

Sci Fi Dine In.....nothing compares to this for atmosphere!!

" Honorable mentions":

Kona Cafe, Les Chefs de France, Brown Derby, Beaches & Cream, Tutto Italia, California Grill

Sorry, it"s hard for me to limit our favorites to only 5, we like to have sit down dinners every day & sometimes lunch, too!

Bottom 5:

Coral Reef.... only here once, but the almost 1 hour wait made us not want to come back

Whispering Canyon Cafe....not impressed with food or atmosphere

restaurant in China, don't remember the name.....we're just not that into Chinese food, plus seemed expensive & limited choices

Tony's Town square....DH doesn't care for their sauce that much. I thought it was good but expensive for pasta

Cape May Cafe, dinner....we go every few years just to do a buffet, but food really isn't that great.

Sorry, I have a lot of thoughts on food, it's one of my favorite topics!!:lmao:
