My TS favorites so far:

1. Raglan Road - This is a must do on every trip for our family
2. California Grill - Great food and service
3. Coral Reef - I know many people hate this place, but we have never had a bad meal or service here!!!
4. Marrakesh - Again, this place gets poor reviews, but the food is authentic and delicious
5. Kona - Our favorite breakfast on property


The TS that did not please us:

1. Hollywood Brown Derby - We were underwhelmed by the food and service was not good.
2. Le Cellier - This place has disappointed us every time we have gone. The food is not great, not bad, but not worth a fourth trip.
3. Chefs de France - I have had better food at chain restaurants. Our service here was poor, the server was rude and he disappeared on us.
4. Akershus - our problem here was bad food and the fact the tables are crammed together too closely
5. Shutters - this was terrible!!!!!!





Favorite CS:

1. Earl of Sandwich - Love these sandwiches
2. Flame Tree BBQ - We are BBQ fans
3. Casey's Hot Dogs - Nummy Nummy Nummy
4. Cosmic Ray's - Again, BBQ!!!

Princess Daddy and Simba-I agree...Biergarten is a must do for us. Yes, we love the food...but the atmosphere and service has always been excellent, too. I am almost getting teary eyed as I sit here typing, thinking of people sitting there and enjoying it...kids on the dance floor, the band playing..."Ziggy Zuggy, Ziggy Zuggy...Hoi Hoi Hoi!!" Wish I was there right now! *sob*

I will preface this - I am a vegetarian and DH is not, and these places pleased both of us.

Yachtsman (food, esp. DH steak, and service)

We also liked California Grill, too, but we ate there once and it was over 10 years ago!

Why oh Why did we waste a meal here??

LeCellier- a huge let down for us. I hated the cheese soup. The place was so crowded I could not think straight. I could hear 4 different conversations.

Jiko- food was fine until the next day when all 3 of us were sick. Not sure if Jiko was the reason but none of us could even think about the meal without feeling sick.

Tony's - food was average but service was awful. We tried Tony's twice and each time got the same grouchy waiter.

I know what you mean. On our last trip after dinner at Ohana, DW woke up in the middle of the night feeling violently ill. We'd had a fantastic meal, and she was saying the next day that she really hoped it wasn't food poisoning because it would bias her against going back.

Much to our perverse relief, the rest of us came down with the stomach flu a couple of days later (we were home when the rest of us got it, so only DW had a day of vacation ruined) and DW has been able to suppress the feeling that it came from Ohana. Never been so happy to get sick in order to disprove food poisoning!
