Will keep trying for a later seating, was hoping for a later seating. Last year the lunch booking times were listed as 1:45-2:45 so wasn't expecting a noon seating.
Arg. Is Disney limiting Candellight packages to the 180 days rule too this year? In the past this was never an issue. We always book as soon as booking started and we always do the package on Dec. 24th.
It won't let me book online. On hold on the phone and it says the wait is 30 mins!
Yip finally got through and Disney are holding Candellight packages to the 180 days booking window too. So frustrating. I really hope there is still availability when our date opens up or that's one family tradition out the window for this year. Fingers crossed.
Got the 8:15 show but the only time shown for chefs was 4:30 so I took it. I was surprised it was so early. Guess we'll be leaving South Carolina early that day to make a 4:30 ressies - lol - oh well more time with the mouse!
I was able to change the 4:30 to 5:10 on December 9 for the 8:15 show. Don't know why the system didn't give me that option at 7:10 this morning. I have never eaten at Chefs or seen CP as I am very excited!!!
I got thru by phone. We'll be on the DDP so I wasn't sure if you could do that on-line or if you had to talk to a CM to avoid getting billed. Regardless I got thru in about 7 minutes or so.
Nov 27th, 5:30 reservation for the 8:15 show at the Garden Grill in the Land. First time eating there and with 3dd (will be 10-7-5) it gave us a chance to see our favorite program at Disney, plus get a character dining and try a new restaurant.
All reservations are now made for our Nov/Dec trip
I got Le Cellier for 11:55 on 12/24. I also have a regular dining time of 1 on 12/24. I was hoping to change that into a CP package, but the CM was unable to do so 11:55 just seems so early! Is it better to have the package deal and use 2 table credits so I don't have to stress about having a seat for the CP?

Disney is effectively making LeCellier a 2TS restaurant (lunch and dinner0 during the CP run (for the most part).
Personally, I'd have a hard time paying 2TS for lunch and I don't want to eat that big that early. But yes, if you want a specific show time and you don't want to queu up a couple hours in advance, then yes, 2TS is worth it.
The other option is to pay oop instead of using your DDP entitlements.
I have never done the 8:15 show, always do 6:45 but the only time to eat was 3:45 and that was too early for dinner for us and too late for lunch, so I took the 8:15 show.
