'Ohana's is at the Polynesian and they have a character breakfast w/ Lilo & Stitch, Mickey and Pluto. They also have a family style hawaiian dinner.

Boma's is at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and is a buffet with African food. They serve breakfast and dinner.

Here are the menus for them:

We will be at Pop Century on free dining 9/7-9/10 and at the Beach Club Villas with the DVC (paid) dining plan from 9/10-9/15

Our dinner reservations-
9/7 Crystal Palace
9/8 Le Cellier
9/9 Chef Mickey's
9/10 California Grill
9/11 Marrakesh
9/13 Cape May Cafe
9/15 Boma

This was planned mainly with the needs of our kids in mind...plenty of "eat at your own pace" or "eat with characters" sorts of meals. When you're not getting specific courses at specific times its easier to eat in shifts when necessary...LOL. We have an 11yo, a 6yo and a 2yo. If it were just dh and I we'd likely do less buffet/ayce/character meals....but the kids don't have patience for meals like that every day. The regular table meals I tried to choose with distractions in mind...the view at Cali Grill, bellydancer at Marrakesh, etc... We also plan to go to Beaches and Cream at some point, but not using dining credits, unless we've saved some from another meal (ie. if 11yo ds doesn't want an adult meal we'll pay oop for a kids meal...but that will be entirely his choice)

Donald's Breakfastasaurus
Hollywood & vine lunch or 50's Prime Time
Chef Mickey's Breakfast
LeCellier dinner
Kona Cafe dinner
Biergarten lunch
1900 Park Fair dinner
Whispering Canyon Cafe dinner

Why do so many people like Prime Time? I noticed it was picked by quite a few people in this thread. We ate there for lunch two years ago and the food was just ok. In the category for me as Sci Fi, Garden grill, whispering canyon etc. I am surprised only because I think there are so many great options with the DDP. Did I miss something when we ate there? I can see trying it once but .....Please no flames. I am really just curious. :disrocks: :tigger: :tigger: :tigger:

For us it was the fun and different atmosphere (we're taking DH's mom who will love it as she constantly reminises (sp?) about the 50's. Also I thought they had the best appetizer I had all week (fried herb cheese) and I loved their desserts. In fact, I am skipping the main course this time and just eating that. The only other MGM place we've been to is Sci-Fi and the food didn't compare in our opinion.
