Linked Reservation giving me a Headache!

We arrive this saturday for 10 nights, the first 6 on my points the last 4 on my sisters, called last thursday to change a name (member services messed it up) and they had to unlink them change the name and then re-link them. Well have been checking everyday to see them linked and to do online check-in and the system is either screwed up or our reservation is.

When looking up the reservation on my DVC account, I still see my original reservation. When bringin it up on the Disney.go site, my confirmation number (and my sisters both) show it as the second part only. Why???

When trying to do online check-in from either site it shows an error screen and says "you must be 18 years old to do online check-in" Oh soooo frustrating!

Soo after 3 days of trying to get it to work myself, I call Memeber services today and they tell me the computer is down until 5:15. Ugh! Of course I can't call them back before they close and I'm thinking well maybe the computers being down will have fixed the issue, NOPE. I will call back again tomorrow and hope that it works out.

Any ideas why? or what is causing this to be such a headache? I just really hope i have a place to sleep come saturday!

Because you have linked two reservations from different memberships, you can't do on-line check-in and Disneyworld.com doesn't know how to display them properly.

If you can see both of them correctly on the member website when logged on the each membership, they are fine. Since they are linked, the resort will see it as a continuing stay.

Thank you!! That does explain the online check in but I could see them properly on the Disney site before we called to change the name. I guess that is the most frustrating part. If it was only the way you described then fine but it did work once. (which I'm guessing is more the exception than the norm).

Thanks again for clearing it up!
