Lines/Cues and Park Closing Times

Planning on attending Labor Day Sept 1 MNSSHP. Want to ride Mine Train. Thinking about doing it LAST. TP predicts at 10 PM the wait will be slightly over 60 min. Party ends at 12 midnight. When will they stop letting people cue up? 11PM? Earlier? Later? What is typical for cues closing on an average night in the Parks? Do they close the cue at CLOSING or earlier? Is it based on wait times?

Riding attractions is not the main reason guests attend the Parties.

I'd go to the Mine Train earlier in the evening and likely not have much of a wait.

Taking that further, I doubt that the wait would be backed up much at all during the last hour of the Party.

Thanks Robo. Ideally I'd like to get into line at 11:30- think we will be SOL? I'd rather save it for last, or late if possible. What time do CM's stop letting people get in line if the party ends at Midnight (or when the park closes)?

The queues for the attractions do not close until park closing time. If you're in the queue at that time you will be able to ride the attraction.

Although that is often true, it is not always true.

And, in the case of the Hard Ticket Parties and PM EMH, it might not be applied as much as a general rule as it is during regular hours closing time.

Regardless, as I posted in my earlier answer, I would not expect a long line backed up for the regular park attractions during the Parties.

If you want to ride SDMT during the last half-hour of the party, I'd just show up at about 11:30.

I'd also expect a lighter MNSSHP crowd in early Sept.
