So, lets assume that - for the purpose of this thread - we can give a pardon to the Potty Breakers and the Groups catching up with groups. There are other line cutters that should not prevail!
Last April - height of Spring Break - DH and I are on last day at AK. . . and this is my post pregnancy trip - and DS did not join us. DH and I are on a roller coaster frenzie, and are determined to get a few rides in on Everest before we have to leave.
We used our Fastpasses, but still needed to ride one more time! Single Rider was looking good with only a 20 minute wait posted. About 15 minutes into our wait - the line is still long. We've got super CM whose doing too-good-of-a-job filling the coaster - pairing parties of 3 together, and leaving us Singles hanging.
We have a group of five Teens / Early 20's right behind us. We watch as 3 of them jump the railing and enter the Fastpass line and try to go in the Fast Pass line - and they did NOT have Fastpasses. We just laughed b/c we knew they would be sent back out.
The 2 guys remaining in line seemed to think that their exiting friends must have been successful, and they come up with a plan to get through the line faster. After 20 minutes in line behind us they seem to surprisingly realize that they know somebody who's further ahead in line. So, they pushed past everyone to catch up to a teenage girl who was waiting by herself. NO DOUBT - they did not know this girl - but prentended to.
Okay - so it's not that bad. . . 2 people cut in front of us. No biggie right? Not so right. Shortly after they cut - the 3 guys who tried to go in the Fast Pass line were back and unsuccessful! And what do they do? Hop back into line with their buddies. So now - we have 5 single riders who have cut infront of us and about 15 other people.
You could tell everyone was mad and everyone was starring at the group of cutters. But, no one did anything or said anything. No one bothered to tell a cast member.
To top it off, when they did get to the front of the line for their turn, they tried to convince the CM to let them ride together. Typical!
I still get steamed up when I think about it - - - wishing that we would have a least alerted the CM.
