Lindsay and Chris PJ! WP/Italy Isola/AAR...Disneyland Paris Honeymoon added 7-19

That's a beautiful choice! Now go get some sleep!

And maybe pack some of that tape carrie used to keep her necklace in place. Probably it works on other things!

Hi, Lindsay

I just wanted to tell you how lovely your STD is. We're looking forward to the wedding (you know how I love WDW!). I haven't checked in here for awhile, so I just read about 6 pages. Your wedding dress is gorgeous and the veil makes it perfect. As for the girls' dresses, they're all fine, but you know which one will look best on them. If you don't, Caryn will tell you!:rotfl2:

Mark said the July get-together was really fun. He & Caryn needed a break, with the restaurant about to open.

One thought - please consider letting your cat ride down the aisle on your veil. It will make your wedding stand out from all the others.:cool1:

I think we're going to NJ for Thanksgiving. Warn everyone: the Texans are coming! Hope you & Chris will be there too.

Love,

Nana Katz

Hi again everyone!
Again no big updates... but wedding planning is still going, full force.
This morning I booked Ana from Beaute Speciale. She did Caryn's wedding so I feel comfortable with her. We have 6 people for hair and at least 3 for makeup. I told her that we should be pretty much ready by 3:30 and she said that she'll have 3 people there (2 for hair, 1 for makeup I guess) and we'll start at 11.

I think the timeline is something like:
Breakfast: 9-10:30
Hair starts: 11am
Randy gets to us: 3:30ish
Boys pictures start: 4:00 (boys and boys family)
Girls pictures start: 5:00 (girls and girls family)
Staged first look: 5:45-7:00
Ceremony: 7:30

Think that sounds okay?

I was planning to make my BMs necklaces (ala Lurkyloo) but when DF and I were in DTD Disney this weekend I found what I was going to make!!! So I bought them. I'll post pics soon!

Your schedule looks good, Lindsay!

I know I am a little late jumping on the bandwagon about the BM dresses, but I have to chime in and say I really like your choice. That is the same skirt my MOH had and I really loved it on her and she was comfortable in it too. The pickups looked so good. Here is a pic of it from the back

You might have said this already, but are your girls wearing sashes?

I read that and thought you asked if they were wearing shoes?!?!!? :rotfl:

Yes, they are wearing sashes. Caryn and Megan (Matron and Maid of Honor) are going to wear a bright pink top (Watermelon, i think) with the black skirt and a black sash. Mary and Claudia (BMs) are going to wear all black with the pink sash.

I thought of doing the same thing. But, I don't know. I've never made jewelry so I'm a little intimidated. Good luck and please post pics!!

Here is a pic of the necklace, sorry it's not a great pic

It's the same thing I was going to make, but sooooo much easier to buy!

Lindsay you definitley let Caryn do it for you! That is beautiful!! I am seriously thinking of doing it for me! Actually if you don't want her to do it for you maybe she could do it for me :rotfl2: :rotfl: JK!

wow that is beautiful Caryn!
Lindsey you really should let her make it, it would be so nice, and maybe after wedding if its not messed up you could cut out monogram and make some with it or framme it as a souvenier, (i'm sure caryn will think of something)

I am so jealous! I want a talented sister who would offer to help with wedding DIY projects. WAAAAAHHHHH!!! :sad1:

Caryn is under very strict instructions that she is not to start any new projects until the invitations are finished.

ok. lots of work went into lindsay's wedding today...

the invitations have officially been started...

look at that thick stack that i get to cut (lucky me...) ignore the very messy living room, i'm working from home today...

stamps

100_1191.jpg

these are annoying me...i'm going to cut them in half, so i only need to do 50 stamps, for a total of 13 pages, but the stamp is so detailed that it doesn't stamp well sometimes...

then, i came up with a winner monogram...ignore the gray. something is wrong with my photoshop (i suspect user error) and it won't make the "H" pink...

i think i'll use this monogram for the aisle runner and for labels to close the invitation envelopes...

I'd say just give in gracefully, the aisle runner is going to get done.

Ditto!! :rotfl: You are very lucky, Lindsay - but I love the one project at a time plan ;)

Looks like you are off to a great start, Caryn! :woohoo:
