Yikes about Kev's finger! Hope it gets better soon! I Really hope my kids don't end up playing football!! My dad Ruined his ankles playing football. It is a touch dangerous. But the boys love to play Go figure!

Sounds to me like you are doing the best out of you, Marie & I on the getting back on track (couldn't find any kind of trophy or award smilie ) Congrats! Keep up the good work!!! We need you to do good to continue to motivate us! Or at least I do!

I am working 6 day weeks now. Blah. i am not doing too great with my south beach. I need to start over. darn it. Hopefully I can get it going again.


Kev is at camp. So at least he is having fun!

I was just checking the website at kevs camp. They posted these pics of him on the "high ropes" course. Its where you do a course on wires and logs about 35 ft high, and then get down by jumping off with this huge swing thing.

Ok, so I had to get up early and drive to pick up kev at camp. He had a great time. Best camp ever. He's says this every year without fail. Cracks me up. He said "but seriously mom, this one was the best ever." So thats great. This is his 9th year at this camp. I went there when I was kid, and so did my mom. It is much better now, tho. Lots of fun activities, everything from archery to water skiing to hay rides to dances.

So, to continue. Drive home. Been on the road maybe 20 mins and hear a sound. inda like the car is revving or slipping gear for just a couple of seconds. Kev looks at me and says what was that? About 2 mins later, I realize ITS THE AC! AGAIN! My honda is now 2 1/2 years old and the ac goes out again! Of course its sweltering. Always is. So I have kev call my mom to meet me at the garage at 1pm. I figure thats when I will get there. (mom doesnt have a cellphone) NO.....I get in traffic for 2 wrecks on the way home. Just sat for around 40 mins total (with no ac!)


Well we finally get there and mom says my face is so red! I feel awful, queasy and have a headache. She has to take us home one at a time because she drives a spider, so I have her take kev forst while I talk to the mechanic. Anyway, then I walk outside to wait and its not so hot, once you are outside the car so I feel a teeny bit better. Then it starts to rain. Yeah. My life sux.

When I got home I just had to take a nap. I think I was having heat-sickness. I feel better now.


I am hoping the car isnt too much tho. Mom said I should sell it, but I still owe money on it and I'm afraid I cant get enough for it. I will check tho.


Thats all for today.

One day off is not enough thats for sure!

Linda, sorry to hear about the car! No AC in the summer in the south is Truely aweful!! I remember crying the last time mine was busted Hope it isn't too expensive to fix and it gets fixed quick!

Kevin's camp sounds like fun! I'm a bit jealous! I want to do a ropes course! I've always thought they look like SO much fun!

6 day work week! Hope you don't have to do that for too long! 6 days a week SUX!

I understand needing the do over. Hope you are able to get back on track! Don't let the work get to you!

I did cry when the ac broke again amber. Kev was trying to make me feel better but I kinda lost it. Real bad parenting there!

Anyway, havent heard about that yet. I just have to soldier on. I would like to buy a new car, something really teeny maybe, like that toyota yaris. no more hondas thats for sure! I guess I could check on the trade in value for my honda, but I owe 11Gs still. Doubt its more than that.


Anyway, I am still not doinf too great, but at least I finally got some sleep the llast couple of days and that makes a huge difference to me. I really think I can do it then.

Of course tonite tho my nieghbor saw me come home at 9:30 and decided I need some enchiladas! It would have been rude to say no. And they were delicious. I didnt eat that much, she brought a huge platefull over and me and kev ate about 1/2 of it.

Oh, I gotta rag on the boy. He was doing sprints outside (football conditioning stuff). Anyway , he notices that the new people across the street are there, and one is a hot blond! So he is strutting his stuff, running in front of her. And he trips. Yep, right while she was looking at him. He was so embarrassed. He said he came in the house and screamed, then he got worried that she might have heard and had to go look outside to see if she was there. I really feel for him, but its so funny too. I can completely see him doing it! I ope she doesnt hold it against him tho!

Sorry about the car...I can relate! First the rock in the ac condensor, then they had to repack the bearings in the rear shocks...and mine is a 2006!! Nice!
Try to get some rest...1 day off is not nearly enough!!

I had to work, but hey, I made almost as much (holidypay) as I need to pay for my car getting fixed. We really didnt do anything. Drove around and watched fireworks. Came back home and listened to kevs ipod together and sang while watching the neighbors fireworks. It was fun.

I am a lazy bum tho. Its friday night and I havent even done the laundry yet!

MY SON CLEANED THE WHOLE DOWNSTAIRS! REALLY CLEAN< FLOORS AND EVERYTHING!

Now I know he can do it though, so he has no excuses! I was so happy! Hes a great kid. He started the band/football practices this week, so far so good.

Now about me. I am working way too much and way too hard (at work, though I am a lazy butt at home). One day off this week is friday, and I have booked me and Kev tickets at the IMAX to see harrypotter! Never seen one at the IMAX before.

I dont know if you guys remember about me saying I had swollen feet but I am getting a teeny bit worried. Still swollen. Mostly my left, all the way down to my toes. TMI I know but it is strange. I took a couple of water pills tonite and put my feet up. I actually put a bean bag chair on my bed and am going to try to sleep with my feet up. I dont think it is salt. Its not TOM. Writing it down really makes me feel like a whiner tho! Like an old lady with the vapors or something!

Nite, I have to get up at zero-dark-thirty (thats what my dad used to say)

I AM SO JEALOUS!!! I WANNA SEE HARRY POTTER AT THE IMAX!!!

We are going to see it, but DH wants to see Transformers first. The nearest IMAX is in Atlanta, so probably won't get to see it in all its surrounding glory. Let me know how you liked it! (NO details though, please)

Have you gone to the doctor about your swollen feet? I think since it has been awhile and they are still swelling you should get it checked out. Probably nothing serious, but can't hurt to check into it.

I hope Kev enjoys his band camp! I used to love that part of the summer!

When do you get off of 6 day weeks?!? That's gotta be driving you crazy!

Amber, if you can , go see it at the IMAX. It was amazing! The 3D effects were awesome! And delores Umbridge was exactly like I thought, she was perfect. Luna was nothing like I imagined, but she was perfect too! It was great fun.

Anyway, I really have not been on track these last few days. I need need need to exercise, I think that is why I have the swolen feet. Yet the swollen feet make me not want to exercise. It is a conundrum.

I wasnt too bad today, but Kevin made muffins and I am going to eat one. Or two. Shame on me.

Anyone know a good movie for me to see this thursday? It girls nite out and I dont really know whats good chick-flick-wise.

Glad the movie was good....I think once we get to Alabama I'm going to take the kids. Try to find the IMAX downt here...should be interesting!!

How's the swelling doing? Hopefully it's gone down. Ease into the exercising...just in case that's not the reason for the swelling.

We still haven't made it to see the movie yet. I am rereading the books though and I'm on book 4 now, so we will probably wait until I finish rereading book 5 before going to see it. I can't wait to get to the new book too!! I'm TERRIFIED that I will end up seeing/hearing a spoiler before I get a chance to read it!! I looked up the IMAX theaters and the closest one to us that is playing Harry Potter is like a 3+ hour drive so, I guess I'll have to settle for the regular version.

I've been way off track as well. I don't have swelling feet, but I know what you mean about the conundrum. I've been too tired to want to exercise, but I think that not exercising is part of what makes me feel too tired

I agree with Marie, just ease back into it and hopefully the swelling will go down!

What movie did you go see? Sorry, I'm pretty clueless too when it comes to chick-flicks Do Harry Potter and Transformers count?
