Here I am again, in planning mode... trying to figure out a way to buy my own groceries at my favorite Super Target without renting a car. Would like to get it over with on the way to OKW instead of getting a cab when we get there.

There are 6 of us so we need a van or something like that. Are there any companies that do this kind of thing? I looked at the Happy Limo web site but didn't see anything about stopping for groceries...

Thoughts?

We LOVE :lovestruc Tiffany Town Car service and have used it for many, many years. We tried another service once and it was awful. Tiffany is ALWAYS on time (or early) and very nice. They will stop for 30 minutes if you need to make a grocery run.

Before ME, the transportation board used to be VERY knowledgeable about towncar services. We've also used Tiffany - they were OK. We used one I suspect is now out of business that was horrible.

You might want to consider a grocery delivery service - you don't get to do your own shopping, but they can be pretty cost effective compared to a towncar (and time efficient since you don't need to make the stop).

We always use Florida Towncar...they are great and they will do a grocery stop. We used them for our wedding when we flew in 60 of our closest friends. We couldn't have been more pleased.

I believe they charge $100.00 roundtrip...from MCO and back.

It may be more if you have more people. It's always been just my husband and I when we've used them.

In the past we have used happy limo...they let us stop at Albertson's for a brief period of time. (15 minutes) I have contacted them to ask what it would cost to bring me to a different store and wait while I shopped and they said that I would need to pay an idle fee and that the cost would depend on the type of vehicle. This year we decided to try garden grocer and have our groceries delivered. I think that will save valuable time and decrease stress of trying to get everything purchased in a short period of time. Hope this helps!

We've always used MH transportation.....very good especially if you are traveling with kids. They also will make a grocery shop if you need one.

Makes it a lot easier then renting a car. Last time time we had them pick us up at BWV for a quick Universal trip. Worked out great.

Thanks everybody! Great ideas! Wonder if I can do only one way though.... ME would be fine for our way back to the airport on the way home.

We've flown in to MCO and SFB. We've always booked a ride from quick silver. Their rate includes a 30 min stop at publix. The service has been great each time.

We used Happy Limo at Christmas time and were more than pleased! After two bad experiences with other companies we were down to "three strikes and we walk". Happy Limo, with Gary as our driver, was a great experience and the Hummer limo could certainly accomodate all of you.

If you need groceries I would recommend Garden Grocer...wonderful service there too.

I also love Tiffany Town Car...We request Dennis as our Driver. What a nice man! We have never stopped for groceries but they do off a stop and usually have an online coupon.

Have you considered a one way car rental? We rent a car at MCO for one day to go to the store and then turn it in at the Dolphin. It only costs about $45 and we can shop at our leisure. Then on the way home we get a towncar service to take us to the airport (although lately we have been driving to wdw).

FL Tours is the best! Used them on our last trip. Clean towncar, dependable top notch service. Highly reccomend.

Dennis-
