aha! last night it didn't even let me log on. I think it's because Dad ran some anti-virus-scan-thingy-ding last night. . . .oh well.

maroo- 'member when you talked about riding EE over and over? Well that brought to mind a different ride at a different park. (A park that's not WDW) It has a triple-loop, and one of the CMs there rode it 200 times in two days!!! I could NOT handle that.

I'll try tomorrow to multi-quote again. I have not a clue why it won't let me??

That's over-the-top crazy! There'd be a puke-a-rama for sure if I did that!

Check it OUT!! Whoooppeeee!!! They work again!!!!

Hooray! You got your quotes back :)

that's nice..You can't do that to me first thing in the am, I was looking for the laundry smilie for at least 2 minutes before I saw the problem, LOL.

LOL I fixed my laundry smilie! I hate when that happens.

Here you can have one too!!!! :laundy:

Time to PARTY!!!!!!:cheer2::dance3::cheer2::dance3: :laundy:

It's a laundry party! I never use that smilie. I had to use it once.

Glad you got it working!:goodvibes

Just to prove to myself, and all of my most wonderful peeps, I thought I'd start off your morning with a most-fantabulous preen-the-screen multi-quote! Isn't it cool?!

My laundry had to be brought in to dry as it's now too cold to dry outside. Well, actually I COULD leave it out, but after 3 days of drying, I would run out of clothes to wear, and you know how I'd feel about that?! Yes, we're back to arm flab discussion.... :scared1: So, my entryway, if you were to come visit me, would be graced with 3 loads of clothes hanging on the rack like prayer flags around AK.

Hooray! You got your quotes back :)

You guys are cracking me up.

Actually, Bekka was right. DH did an update last night, and it screwed with my security/ cookie/ popup/ something or rather settings. I went into my settings and put it down a notch. So, I'm sure without having ultra high, CIA grade, James Bond level settings, I'll probably be off for the next week due to getting a nice virus or something.

I will miss you.

Isn't this multi- blab great?!

Now go do your laundry!:laundy:

You two are too funny! I nearly fell off the bed laughing!

I asked my Mom and she said you're correct "winkers" has been used as an explicative...many times.

and I'm not to proud to say that it isn't the first time winkers and cheesy has been in the same sentence.

i don't know why, but every time i see "cheesy winkers" i start laughing like a 10-year-old boy seeing two dogs mating for the first time. :rotfl2:

LOVE this, I'm subbing...albeit a little late...but that's the great thing about preTR's that are a year out!

Me too! I think I've already used it on about 4 other Trippies, where no one else is going to have a flippin clue! :lmao:

I think I might have hyperventilated when I saw a new name posted!!

:cheer2::dance3::cheer2:

Welcome to our special brand of fun and funny!

And DO NOT WORRY!! One is NEVER late to a pre-trippie!! Please come by often and oftener!

Good grief!

You guys are a chatty bunch...

winkers. cheese. excrement. dog mating. No wonder they turned your multiquote feature off! :lmao:

I rode a quick coaster (one loop around, forwards and then backwards) 97 times in one day when I was in High School. They were closing the park and would not let us ride the extra 3 times to beat 100. We were not happy.

Actually, Bekka was right. DH did an update last night, and it screwed with my security/ cookie/ popup/ something or rather settings. I went into my settings and put it down a notch. We will have NONE of that. You better not go anywhere! It is bad enough that you disappear on Sat night (my time) and dont' return till Sunday night (my time!)...

So...none of that.

Call Jack Bauer, he can fix it! Better yet...call Chloe!

Oh I'm so glad the multi-quote angst is gone! A house draped drying laundry is bad enough.

Unless your kids still make tents.

Wierd that an update would do that though....I agree, call Chloe next time.

Kay People... I know I live a long ways away, but can someone pul-eeze tell me who Chloe is?? I have a 4 year old neice named Chloe and yeah, maybe she knows more about computers than me, but somehow I don't think you're talking about her. :confused3

'lo? :wave2:

:::sticks toes in to test the waters:::

I'm way behind, can I just jump back in? ;)

She was the Super Duper Mondo Cyber Genius Ultimate Hacker Cracker on the TV show 24. She was like the MacGyver of all things electronic. She could pull up top secret files while stirring her coffee, tap into survelance video without breaking a sweat, reprogram a pocket watch to launch a nuke. In short, she was a true Geek's Geek.

"It's the wave of the future, the wave of the future. It's the wave of the future; it's the wave of the future, the wave of the future, the future, the future..."

Sometimes I feel as messed up as poor Howard. It mostly happens in bed at night, when I muse about our trip next September, as if it were as important as deciding whether to put zippers or buttons on the seat fabric inside and airplane. Over, and over, and over: which ADR when; which order to tour the parks; which mode of transport is best from any given place. Most of the time, I give up, and end up right around Day 2 mid-afternoon, not having gotten any further than I did the night before. It's like Groundhog Day or something much worse.

I thought I'd sneak in one more update before too much longer; it seems the right thing to do, the right thing to do, to do, to do...

Future World for me, has some cool things in it, but honestly this area of WDW just takes more effort from me to enjoy it. Whereas MK, WS, and AK are "easy" for me to relax in, mostly because of the layout, landscaping, visual and kinesthetic values, it just takes less energy for me to "get it".

Most of you know technology scares the living snot out of me. Not because I CAN'T figure most things out, but it takes so much time and effort for me to do so. Owner manuals, shop talk lingo, I just don't get most of what I hear, so I don't listen.

Having said all that, there are some things I really can and do enjoy in FW. Not because I understand them, but because of their high entertainment value. Seriously, who doesn't love going 65 miles and hour with the top off?? Of seeing 10 pound lemons?? That to me is just nifty!

So, here they are; the TOP 10's for FW done Soldier #1 style:

1) Watch a whole song's worth of Fountain action at the Fountain of Nations. I have one of the tracks on my IPod, and I do declare, it is one of my favorite tunes of all time!

2) Stop and smell the roses, literally, in the rose garden.

3) Ride the Land boats. It is my fantasy garden...

4) Have a chat with Crush. He's my number 1 pal at The Big Tank

5) Ride Soarin' . I'm not making this up, but when it flies over the orange groves, that is literally going over my house where I grew up. I can spot my street!!! How cool is that?!! (That scene is in Hemet, by the way). I had a good friend who had a grove that grew for Sunkist.

6) I can't help it, I live me some Figment- farts and all. I find it hilarious that a purple dragon-like thing lets loose in a Disney attraction. What can I say? He must have eaten at the Cantina on his way home.

7) I'm looking for a particular hidden Donald Duck that I think I may have discovered. I found it on someone else's TR, clear as day, but want to photograph it to confirm before I say more. That by the way, would be at M:S which I will ride in some form- depending on the time of day I can.

8) I don't know why I didn't put this as #1... SSE has got to be the single most awesome thing FW has going for it. I love everything about it, and can't wait to laugh hysterically at the go-go lady.

9) There is a butterfly garden behind the bathrooms near Mousegears. I want to hang out there for a spell and see if I can get a nice shot of one.

10) Something I don't LOVE, but that has become tradition is running into the Jamitors. They're pretty funny, but this trip isn't about loud! If I see them great; at least I can tell the kids I saw them, and can take their picture.

That's it. Oh, yeah, I might have to cruise the giftshops and catch some more silly hat shots. Just for fun.

Funny you should mention that... they just made a really awesome one and actually slept in it--- all night---- on Monday.

I should ask Chloe to join our team. She could figure out to make the tax office see things my way (this one, not the IRS. The IRS is like my wunderkind compared to this mess!)

I'm way behind, can I just jump back in? ;)

YES!!!! TK is back!!! Just a minute, I need to do dance a little jig. OK, I"m back. Of course, you can jump right back in, and the links on page 1 should help your quest of reading the meat, if you choose to.:banana:

Gotcha!!! You're basically saying that she's my antimatter persona. :confused3:rotfl2:

Never seen it, but some folks over in the capital city have lots of seasons. I should ask to borrow them when my son comes home for break.

:scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1:

I don't mind being an expletive (not explicit) but I really don't want to be compared to mating dogs.

Liesa....you know you're a dis addict when multi quote, is all it takes to excite you.:thumbsup2

I know! It's a frightening thing!! I learned some valuable things today while DISsing.

I can fix multi quoting by playing with a lot of buttons and hoping I don't permanently screw something else up whilst doing so.

I learned who Chloe the uber goober geek is.

I learned that Kaleo the singer at the Poly will be no longer. Okay, I must admit, I am really, really saddened by this!

AND, I learned that winkers doesn't mind being expicit or exploited, or exemplified or exonerated. I could actually scroll down, and see what you really said, but nah, we'll leave it at that.

I think she was comparing the laughter of a 10 year old to the mating dogs. Did I miss it?? And can someone tell me how this went from BATS to dogs? OH yeah, right, something about glass.

Future World!! :cool1:

1. the land - if you love it - then I would consider doing the Backstage Tour - its like $12 and is so very enjoyable (maybe on your solo day?)

2. SSE - when you come "out" there is a WHOLE lot of techno machines- wait for the one that you have a skeleton in an operation game style - the others are too much work! (like floor hockey - dd enjoyed running around with dh tho!)

3. Figment - after the ride arent you going to send us a postcard?? hmmm???

4. Naptime - why do people always forget the value of taking a nap? Head over to Ellen's Adventure - I cant tell you much about the ride, its dark, is a/c and you can get a whole row to yourself, so snooze is a must!!

5. we must do Test Track - dd favorite...

6. Nemo, Crush, Turtle Talk - but dont forget about the manatees!

7. and of course you could never do Soarin too many times - now most people will tell you that you can ride Soarin, then FP and use your FP beyond the FP return time - however I must have a nerdy stamp on my person -because in all of our trips - THEY ALWAYS TURN ME AWAY!! Once I got thru the first CM - but the CM collecting the fp yelled at me, I ignored him, kept walking, but poor dh and dd didnt - I was so angry - I didnt show it - I just went back and yelled at a manager (ok I cried, I didnt yell - dd has fainting issues, and often we do FP and have to leave and spend time in the FIrst Aid station - well he did give us a FP to use, but still... humilating I tell you!) traumatic and yet we still ride!!

8. The fountains are fabulous - but I forgot to mention

9. the fountains at the exit of Honey I shrunk the Audience - dh and dd spend hours it seems here!!

10 Rose Garden - how do they keep all those roses painted red? Always beautiful!!
