Question?

Being we can't fax our requests to the WL anymore, how do you all ask for specific requests on the room you would like to have? Just looking for ideas.

I like both Artist Point and Whispering Canyon.

Artist Point for a nice night out. I feel it is upscale, but yet casual and ok for children also. Great food. The salmon dinner spoiled me forever, having salmon anywhere else isn't the same.

Whispering Canyon for a wild, fun night. Great for kids. Good food. I love their pulled pork and bbq ribs. The bbq sauce is great. Desserts are to die for and you can get them for take out if you are too full.

There is also Territory Lounge for drinks and appetizers. Cheese plate very good.

And, Roaring Forks for just about anything. The chicken wraps are very, very good. Enjoy!!!

if you are staying at the WL- is it necessary to make a PS before you arrive- or is it pretty easy to get into Whispering Canyon when you want???

For the most part, we usually get walk up seating for WCC but if it is busy in the hotel, (as in FULL) I would recommend PS always.

For AP, I would advise PS always regardless.

Fred - we had the opposite.

The Sat we arrived, we could get no WC at any time. We were never able to "walk in".

We had no problems getting seated at AP. While WC was "bursting at the seams" AP was almost empty.

Our resturant fav, though, is Concourse Steakhouse at CR. We'd just take the boat over. We also liked Trails End at FW.

The rain is sneaking into my forecast! We had a week of rain last trip and proved that you can have an awesome time in the World...even damp, but I was really hoping for drier weather this trip

I know our dear weather wizard is in self healing mode (prayers and PD still heading Roy's way ), but I need some PD for great weather!

I'm a little sad today as I think we may have to cancel our trip Sometimes real life just gets in the way of what we really want. I am still hoping that we can swing it but I'm highly doubtful at this point.

Definitely take some suits for the hot tubs! Lounging in the hot tub (I agree with Kimberle, the one by the quiet pool is my favorite) after a long day in the parks is heavenly!!
