My youngest DS will be 8 on the 15th We are celebrating on the 9th b/c we are coming home on the 13th. We will celebrate yours too We are running home b/c we are too chicken to deal with Pres. Weekend crowds!

I feel your pain. I too may have to postpone our April trip. I'm keeping my hopes up, but right now, it's not looking to bright! DS, high school, and all that. Not to mention the terrible airfare prices I'm getting for April right now! Anyway, pixie dust to both of us! And did you see Jon this morning on Regis? My friend called me at work and told me to find a tv like NOW, and so I ran around looking for a waiting room that had that channel on! Found one and got to see him talking to Regis and Kelly, but didn't get to hear him sing! But I do hear that he will be on The Today Show tomorrow , and since the weather is again going to be so lousy, I'll probably work at home for a few hours, so I may get to see him.

Pewing Don't worry, the weather will change. I'm sure of it! But here is some extra PD just in case!

Good Morning All!!!

Obviously it has been a long time since I posted. Thanks for the PM Majestic...it's always nice to feel wanted.

I check in on the thread about once or twice a week to see what's going on. I really miss the lodge and WDW in general. I think that's why I haven't posted the last few months. I know that we probably will not make back "home" again for at least another two years. I would love to go back every year, but due to monetary concerns...etc… I know we will not make it back any time soon.

That first month back from our early November trip I was still riding the emotional high of being at the lodge. Right now I think I'm a little down in the dumps because I know we will not be back anytime soon. Being on the thread too much reminds me of this fact.

Anyway….enough of me whining….I hope everyone is doing well. F Cat has been in my prayers…I hope he is doing ok.

Corky, I was going to tease you about your JBJ picture but now I feel a bad and can’t because you may have to cancel….oh…sorry…change the dates of your trip. I hope it all works out for you.

DisneyDmbNut, I have to catch up on your trip reports, but I hope you’re having a great time.

pewing, I love the hot tub at the quite pool. Sometimes a Dad needs a few minutes of quite time and I found it in that hot tub. If you catch being there at the right time…when it’s empty…and the pool area is pretty quite you can really feel like you’re alone….enjoying the lodge…for a few minutes in peace and quite.

Anyway….thanks again Fred…I will try and be a more active participant and not just a lurker in the future.

Well, looks like we're going to have to pospone our trip, too.

First, we wanted to go in Mar, then Apr. No discounts have come out for the end of April and the air from NYC is outrageous. I'm looking at abt $430 per ticket. Right now, I can get Sept tickets for $150 a person. Plus, dh really wants to stay on the 14th floor (cong.) of the CR. I really don't want to go in July/Aug, it's just to hot.

Oh no, What about May, May is the best month to visit Florida and they usually have good rates then also....This rescheduling trips has got to stop...Corky and You need sunshine.

Kimberle, and Mary Ann -I'm sorry to hear you might have to postpone....it's quite depressing isn't it?? I have decided to take everyones's advice though and not use the "c" word anymore.....just talk postpone....even if it's a lengthy postponement.
Postpone does sound better though!!

Ladies, Thanks so much for the heads up on the JBJ sightings....you'll be happy to know that I have had the VCR working overtime to get everything when I'm at work. I try to not miss a moment of him. Watched Regis last night after I got home. YUMMY.....that's definitly the right word!!
