Any last advice?

Care to share your favorite WL memory?

Still packing...I feel like the Energizer Bunny!!

Ah Pewing..................
Favorite memory of the lodge eh? There are so many. Here are two of my favorite memories from our last trip.
Sitting by the fireplace on the 4th floor near our room with our hot cocoa, just relaxing and talking, and enjoying the beautiful Christmas decorations. It is something I'll never forget. So wonderful, so "at home"....
The second memory is kind of funny actually. My DS wanted to go down to the RF one night before bed to get a snack, so DH and I said "go ahead, we will be down shortly" as I wanted to wash the day off before I relaxed. So about 20 min later, DH and I head downstairs and towards the RF. But as we are passing by the Territory Lounge, who do we see in through the glass but our son with a bucket of wings in front of him! We laughed so hard! Seems he couldn't find the right snack at RF, so he headed over to the lounge to see what they had! (Or was it a plan to get wings???) Anyway, it was priceless!
So, with that I say, get packing, and have a wonderful, magical vacation!:wave2:

Hi there.

DisneyDmbNut,

Hope you are enjoying your trip!

FloridaCat,

You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

Does anyone know if the honeymoon suites at WL connect? I'm sure they don't but I thought I would ask.

Also,

Majestic, when you received that wonderful upgrade to the Yosemit Suite did you notice any problem with people on the 6th floor smoking on their balconies and it coming toward your room?

Thanks in advance.

I didn't notice a problem at all with smoke coming up. I am also a non smoker. (Now at least...quit about a year and a half ago...)

The honeymoon suites do not connect but the entrance doors are immediately accross the hall from each other. The rooms are all on the lobby on the 7th floor with a small hallway leading to them. 2 on each side of the lobby.

Wow, thanks for the quick reply.

We are still booked in the Yellowstone Suite but if the Yosemite Suite becomes available then I want to know if we should take it or not.

When I called to check availability today the CM said 2 honeymoon rooms were available. I was tempted to take them but could only do so if they connected. I guess it was pretty stupid of me to think that honeymoon rooms would connect. :p

Thanks again.

Fred,
Maybe we'll go that week in May also! We're waiting for AP rates, but want to go early in May. Before the crowds. (hoping)

From what I have read, I know DH will LOVE WL. But he wants the convience of the monorail so we are also trying Poly. DD (Princess Colleen princess: ) is 5 months old, so its Stroller city!
Does anyone know how strollers work on WL ferry? Can I roll the stroller on? Will have to close it up?

The strollers don't have to be closed up most just push them right on board.:boat:

That is great to know!!!
What a nice convenience!
What do you do with your strollers at the restaurants and Character Meals?
Also- what do you do with them on the monorail?
Thanks!:D

Our dates are May 13 - May 16. I will make sure I post them in the data base.

It would be sooo cool to meet some of you. :D

That depends on the boat and the water level.

If it's the boat with the blue flag that goes to the Contemporary then you have to take the child out and fold up the stroller. There is no ramp for this boat. It's much smaller and you have to step down into it.

If it's the boat with the green flag that goes to the Magic Kingdom, in most cases you can ride the ramp straight onto the boat with no problems.

As for Monorail, with the boat to the Poly, the monorail is only a short boat ride away. From there, we take the elevator up tot he monorail level and go to the TTC. From there we did quite a few trips to Epcot. We did this quite a bit our last trip a few weeks ago and it worked like a charm. Just take note that the shuttle boat usually stops running around 10pm or so. On one night we did the MK, then took the boat to the Poly, had dinner, then jumped the monorail to the Contemporary and jumped the boat to WL. It may sound like much but if you don't rush and enjoy, it's actually quite nice.
