WOW!!!! 5000 plus and picking up speed, you go Girl

Quite a few of the rooms have a good view of MK. I stayed in one myself. There are pics of it in my photo gallery under Balcony Views.

Enjoy!

Photo Gallery link is in my siggy.

Anyone else want to send thier balcony pics my way? Send them to wdwwl@majesticnetworks.net and I will add them as soon as I can. Try not to send TOO many at once. :)

Thanks for the answer! Now I have to decide which would be more important bunkbeds or a possible view. Youngest DD is six and is TERRIFIED :scared: of the sound of all fireworks. I mean hysterics! So your suggestion of the hallway is great! Getting bunkbeds would be the coolest thing to them and me! Not having to sleep with a horizontal child would be heaven!;)

I made PS day 3....California Grill at 6pm so I can see the Fireworks..I do this each year and it is soo pretty..PLUS the food ain't half bad either!

Fred - I have been looking at the pics and REALLY like the 4121..I have had the MK view and want to see about getting the courtyard view...something in the bottem "V" would be nice. Has anyone stayed over Artist Point?

We could hear the F/works from our room. We were in 5138, facing the villas/quiet pool, kind of where the 2 buildings meet, south side. They weren't loud, but we had our window closed and could hear them.

"horizontal child ":rotfl: Know exactly what you mean! Nothing like getting woken from a sound sleep with a pair of footprints right in the center of your back!! Ouchie!!!!!!!

Actually, AC and I were in rooms right near where AP was. AspiringCindy's room was just to the left of a long, narrow window that you could look directly down to the AP dining room!

We were in 7044 on the concierge level and had a great view of the MK. We could see the Castle and Space Mountain and watched the fireworks from our balcony every night. The only downside to our room was that it was over the service area/smokehouse. I only heard the comings and goings on one night though and we actually enjoyed the smell of the smokehouse.

I tried to take some pics from our balcony but I don't know how they turned out. I have to go back through my shots and find them. I'll post them if I can.

Congrats on your 5000th post!

Also, has anybody ever gotten snacks at the Territory Lounge? My DH went there one evening by himself to catch a game and got the chicken wings and said they were fantastic. He really liked it in there a lot and wanted me to be sure to give them mention on the boards.

Everyone have a good day!

WLers. You should be aware that the new FW, Wishes, is fired off from different locations in MK. While you will still be able to see the high shots, the entire show will not be visible.

WiscMomof2,

One night my DH and I went to the lounge and has a glass of wine and ordered the cheese plate. We were very surprised, it was delicious. They give you about five different kinds of cheese and crackers and fruit. They even included goat cheese. It was about $8.00 but very well worth it.

We are looking forward to going back in December and are hoping to watch the football game on the Sunday that we are there. We are planning to try some more snacks.:D

is great! One night we were looking for the boys, and found them in the longe enjoying the wings!. They said they were fantastic and can't wiat to go back for more. :p The rest of the group will certainly be in there with them next time. ;)

 My spelling is really off, but you get the picture. ?

During our Aug trip while the girls and I went shopping at DTD my husband and son (age 2) hung out in the Lounge. They had a good ole time eating some potato skins and flirting (well, my son flirted with an older woman-age 6).
;)

My husband enjoyed it very much. He liked the big screen tv which at that time was playing pre-season Monday night football. We met up with them in there and I sampled their Hurricane drink (yummy).
The lounge closes at 11:30, but the bartender was nice enough to give us some hurricanes in to go cups to enjoy by the pool.
Also, the lounge is no smoking.

Good to "see" you, I was wondering where you were. Everything still OK with DH?
Thanks FC. All is good. DH is great - thanks SO much for asking!

I've been here, just reading and soaking in all the info. Been swamped lately with Budget reviews here at work and with my college classes.

Good news is the reviews are done and I have a small break before my next class starts :)

I can't beleive I have 3 pages to catch up since I posted yesterday!!

Woo hoo.....35 days!!! I'm going to have to print out my Disney Countdown Chain soon :hyper:

We were there for 10 days
AND I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A TV THERE!
or buffalo wings! (Dh would have LOVED those!)

Thank You WiscMomof2 - sounds PERFECT!

Although I did like our courtview room last trip - BEAUTIFUL view of the waterfall and pool - it was very noisy at night!

Thank You Magestic! I may upload some photos for you later - I scrapbook and it will take a while to scan them and crop them down to just the photos
:p

I have a 'vertically challenged' child too Kmermaid - and he is in our bed 13 out of 14 night average!
funny thing is I may have just found one of the probs - 'MONSTERS' (he just started talking well) - We got one of those HUGE posters at Epcot with all of us digitally imposed into a Monsters Inc scene - DD hangin upside down by Sully, and DS squished under him - I think it isn't helping the MONSTERs thing and is going to have to find a new home ! lol

Shopgirl, that's great news! I hope we run into each other in the beautiful lobby or riding wooden horses in the WC!

Territory Louge sounds like fun. Nice of them to include a place to get those adult drinks- after all, we're gonna be on vacation!

maidmarion,

Like shopgirl mentioned, Me and my fam will be there too! We'll be checking in to the lodge late on 12/12 and checking out on 12/21.

Can't wait.

Night all. 'See' you all tomorrow :wave2:

Fred: Balcony pics will be posted this weekend. I wish I could circle the otter in the pond..I hope everyone can figure it out.

Terrirtory Lounge: I walked past and heard the football game. Everyone was hooping and a hollering. As soon as I walked in I was given the score. (I love football). I didnt eat anything, cause most of the time I was stuffed from dinner. The snacks looked yummy.

Question: how do I put up a pic in my posts?

Off to work..have a great day WL'ers:jester:

Counting down the hours! I think I'm ready... I feel as if I'm forgeting something.
